When it's time to wrap up your evening, let the central air conditioning cool you down while you watch a good movie on the flatscreen TV.

Whenever you need a break from the kitchen, you'll have plenty of great restaurants nearby. Check out Flying Fish Public Market & Grill, The Whole Food Mediterranean Grill, and Rockefellers Raw Bar to sample some delicious local fare. Plan a day trip to visit the Myrtle Beach Pier area and be sure to check out Family Kingdom Amusement Park while you're there.

Things to know:

Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program provides one free ticket from up to 3 partners per reservation. Additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on property specific websites.

Children’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!

Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more!

DVD Rentals - Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.

Bay Watch has 18 bodies of water including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers. Sandtrap Sports Bar is a guest favorite, open daily. Fishtails is a seasonal pool bar featuring fun cocktails and live entertainment during the warmest seasons. There is also a gift shop selling trinkets and forgotten items to make your trip complete.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Nice!

All was as inspected and clean. Room not ready on time but I was compensated with free parking for extra vehicles. Only thing is couch is wore out! So uncomfortable. Needs to be replaced ASAP.

Lovely view. Desperately needs updating

Lovey view from the 14th floor. 1434 is in desperate need of updating. The sofa sages in the middle. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows...lumpy and stained. Facing was peeling on the bathroom cabinets. The appliances functioned as purposed. The staff at the Baywatch were wonderful! I would return to Baywatch but another room.

We booked 2 bed and only got 1!

We ask to have our room to a two bed and they said they were booked up and out of two beds. Vacasa spoiled our trip because We have to have two beds before my husband has had multiple knee replacements and I have fibromyalgia really bad.

HORRIBLE

The room was gross and dirty. Dirty sock and old taco bell sauce packet behind nightstand in bedroom. Food particles and stains on the kitchen and living room tables (I bought cleaner and cleaned myself). The couch was so dirty and falling apart. I asked for a set of sheets to cover it, and the chair, so we could sit on them. The kitchen floor was so sticky, we were sticking to it. I had to clean that too. We were late getting into our room. We were told by a front desk person the reason for the late check in was because the housekeeper's were tending to the front desk instead of cleaning the room. We contacted the company 4 times and nobody ever did anything. All they kept reponding to us with was the same email saying they were going to check with local management and get back to us. No one ever got back to us. I would never recommend this place and I will never stay here again.

The smell that wouldn't go away

The good- The elevators and parking were fine. Our room was clean enough except for some black residue on the silverware. The Wi-fi worked ok as well. Check-in was pretty seamless and all encounters with staff were pleasant throughout the trip. The bad- The couch had a bad sag in it and needs replaced. We used pillows to prop ourselves up. The check-in parking for loading/unloading luggage is limited to 15 minutes, except that guests basically ignored this and Bay Watch doesn't police it. I saw cars parked over an hour there. If you are leaving on Sunday morning like us, you will most likely have to tote your own luggage by hand like we did as the luggage carriers were absent in buildings 2-3. While probably not fixable, the shower is appropriate for people that are small in stature, the shower sitting about 5 feet from the shower floor. The refrigerator was set too cold and could not be adjusted. The smelly- Upon entering our room Tuesday afternoon we were greeted by a foul odor. It was limited to only the bedroom. We contacted Bay Watch that day and they addressed it three days later. However, the smell was returning on Sunday morning. We think it is some sort of chemical smell.

Great getaway!!

We loved Baywatch Resort!! Our room was great-excellent cleaning, great view. Alisha was wonderful at check-in!! Very patient to explain all the benefits-like the free water park tickets!! Super sweet lady:) Highly recommend!!

Overall Great beach vacation. Wall mirror in living room had 8 splotches of what looked like chewing tabacco spit…very gross.

Choose somewhere else.

This unit was very outdated and not welcoming. Broken drawer, closet barely opened, toilet flush handle was dangling and about to break off, garbage disposal did not work and I could smell old food in the disposal (not from us), fold out bed was broken, room smelled musty, lots of rust throughout unit, and wood trimming was dirty and broken. I spoke with front desk and my complaints were not resolved. No one put in a note when I first spoke with the staff about the issues, so later when I brought it up again they said there was nothing they could do nor could they give any discount to me for the room because there was no initial note put in. Stay somewhere else and get more for your money.
