We had a simply delightful week in Kauai. Your condo. made the stay perfect. My husband travels extensively in his business so hotel rooms don't mean vacation to him. We've stayed in many condos over the years but never one so beautifully furnished and well equipped!
Thanks again - I mean, Mahalo!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to rent your condo for a week, we all had a great time and hope to do it again soon. The condo was well appointed with everything we could possibly need, all we had to do was head to the market and stock up on food and we were good to go.
The condo was a great place to come home to and relax after long days of sightseeing and activities, being able to fire up the grill and have a wonderful meal on the patio overlooking the beach was fantastic. We also really appreciated the air conditioning, we did not use it much but it did help us get a restful nights sleep on the very comfortable bed!
The beach in front of the property was great too and not a bad trek down the trail as long as you have two hands available so wearing a back pack was a must but well worth the effort.
For future renters, if you shop at Foodland just give them a phone number when checking out, no card required, and you will get the discounts.
I highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to rent it again in the future.

Thank you Gary for having such a gorgeous condo available for our vacation. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the cultural yet elegant décor, the amenities provided and the massive layout. The condo is marvelous in every way. We could hear the ocean waves hitting the shore no matter what room we were in. I should mention the VIEW!!! AMAZING!!! Open ocean everywhere you look. I also witnessed schooling dolphins and whales splashing in the distance. (Bring binoculars). The deck is also very large and extremely private and has great patio furniture and a gas bbq (which we used on occasion). The property itself is more than quiet and not crowded at all. The pool is nice, and is heated. The only thing is that the concrete around the pool and the pool trim itself needs a bit of updating, but it really isn't a big deal. The tennis court is right next to the parking lot and is in great condition. Walking in the area is easy and relaxing. There is a path on the left of the pool that leads down to a secluded beach, however, the path is extremely steep and dangerous if it rains. My husband ventured down a couple of times and was able to navigate the path ok, but you really need to be in good physical condition to hike down then climb up. I should mention the path is short, just very steep. All in all, this condo would be my first choice should I come back to visit Kauai.
Gary (owner) is extremely hospitable and helpful in everyway possible. His attention to detail is excellent and his communication is prompt and thorough. I highly recommend this condo. The first word that came out of my mouth when I entered the condo was "WOW"!
Gary it was a pleasure.
FIVE FULL STARS! Gary and his wife have gone out of their way (and I mean WAY out of their way) to make their beautiful top-floor condo accommodating to its guests. Everything is labeled, and the spices are stocked. But it's not the spices that will knock your socks off. The view from the lanai is incredible and makes for a perfect perch to watch whale after whale...even from the kitchen! The condo complex is fairly quiet, but perfect for families. This condo sports a second bedroom with two separate beds (which we love for our two little boys). The pool is basic, yet serves its purpose as it is clean and not too exciting to leave behind to explore the beautiful area. The location is perfect, with a quick walk to the St. Regis for use of their beach (allowed) and their restaurants and bars. Hide-Away beach below the condo is one of the top beaches on the island and is teeming with turtles. Gary is very responsive to any issues that arise and keen on making sure his guests enjoy their stay. You can't go wrong here, plus the condo has great local art...just book it already!
I have no words to say how beautiful this condo was. It was more than we expected! It has everything you need and makes it feel like your right at home. We all loved watching the whales jumping while having our morning coffee on the deck every morning. There was tons of information on where to go and what to do. Best places to eat and how to get there. Made our stay so much more enjoyable knowing our way around thanks to all the booklets. Quite and relaxing, and met some new friends. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Can't wait to stay there again next year! Thank you Gary!
Me and my wife stayed here for 4 nights and it's quite the great home base. Stunning views, of course, and a very nice interior equipped with everything you'd need. I call it a home base because that's sort of how the north side of kaua'i works. Whether you're going to hanalei or just walking down to the beach (at the St Regis or hideaway) or checking out all the other options for hiking or ziplining or whatever, it's just a solid place to come back to. Then, when you take a gander at the St Regis prices, it's even that much more attractive. Just as a couple, we thought we got a great value, and if you're going with another couple or family members, this has stellar value written all over it. All the best food is in Halalei, but having the ability to make your own gourmet meal while having that view is probably more attractive than just having a room and constantly paying Hawaii hotel prices on food. Assuming this is available, the thought of staying next door at the St Regis doesn't even cross the mind.
Plus, Gary is a joy to work with. This was absolutely painless.
I have seen at least 12 Pu'u Po'a units and Gary and Ann's place is one of the best. It is obvious they care about their guests. The furniture and beds are comfortable and tastefully decorated. They provide everthing you need for a wonderful vacation including beach towels, tennis rackets and kitchen staples. I also appreciated how clean the unit was. The activity book is very helpful when choosing excursions and restaurants.
Of course, the best part is the view. The unobstructive ocean view and watching the waves, whales and surfers was so relaxing. Since it is the top floor, you don't hear any noise from a unit above you. You feel like you are on the top of the world.
Gary and Anne were a pleasure to work with. You won't be disappointed if you choose to stay here.
