First Time In SC
This was our first time in SC
We were there for my daughters Marine Bootcamp Graduation. Our reservations were for thursday to saturday but due to traffic we didnt make it til 8:00 Friday.. but otherwise it is gorgeous and so homey and clean the neighboring houses were nice there is alot of dogs.we didnt get to make it to the pool but we enjoyed being there. Would love to return in the future for family vacation which we are starting to plan now.
Thank you for your review. Glad you had a nice time. We love spending time in Hilton Head. You are right about the dogs. This time of the year they are allowed to be on the beach all day, so people bring their dogs. Have a wonderful 2020.
Beautiful stay in HHI
We had a fun filled week of relaxing on the beach and enjoying a very spacious condo overlooking a lagoon.

Great family villa!
We loved our stay. Nice, roomy villa. The appliances were all new and the place was roomy enough for our family of 6. 10 minute walk to beach and close to tennis a.d golf. Will stay again!

Dirty Condo on arrival
The condo was dirty when we arrived. Dirt,sand on floors. Hair in the beds. Fingernails,toenails on living room table. Piles of trash right outside kitchen side door. Candy wrappers on living room table. A used thing to floss teeth was on carpet beside master bed. Dirty,spotted, smudged mirrors in bathroom. We cleaned the entire condo ourselves after we couldnt get in touch with owners. Later we finally contacted owners and they said email them photos and info. We did that but they will not return further emails.
House keepers showed up later to give us new sheets and towels but we had already washed and cleaned everything.
We dont feel it fair to rent condo and have to clean it before we begin our stay.The owners will not respond.
The family arrived on Saturday, June 22, 2019. I talked to the gentleman on Sunday, June 23, 2019. I told him I would call the cleaning company about the conditions of my villa. The cleaning company offered to come and clean the villa. He said that they had cleaned it and did not want the cleaning people to come into the villa. I recalled the cleaning and they said that someone was on their way. I could not call my regime until Monday about the trash (which I told the gentleman). He told me that they took pictures and sent them to me ( I did not ask for the pictures--I believe people's word). I made another call to the gentleman and told him the trash would be taken care of today. Again he asked me about the pictures. I told him that I have not received them. Then he told me he sent them to my landline number. Landline cannot accept text. Thinking about it, I thought that the pictures would be good to send to my cleaning company. I gave the man my personal e-mail. On July 18, 2019, I received an e-mail with the pictures attached. Later on Monday, June 24th, I called to make sure the trash was removed. He said that a man came and took the trash and apologized for the trash not being removed. I do not understand the remark that the owner's will not respond. I had numerous phone conversations with the gentleman during this period, I did not talk to the lady. My next conversation was again with the gentleman and I told him that I would reimburse him for the cleaning. I asked him, "What do you think is a fair price?". He asked me, "What do the cleaning people charge?". I told him. Then he said that is the price. I sent him a check for that price. I do not know how I could have respond more and been more cooperative. I had numerous conversation with the male renter, contacted the proper people and reimbursed him for the cleaning. I totally understand the frustration of walking into a place that is not clean but I do not understand the remark--"Owner did not respond". What more could I do?
