Great stay! The home was very neat and tidy with updated furnishings and had everything we needed, including coffee and a coffee maker. Two bedrooms with queen beds worked perfectly for our two couples.We enjoyed walking to Armature Works and exploring the charming neighborhood with historic homes. Check-in was easy, and the hosts were great - when we had a question about the thermostat, they came over quickly and resolved it right away. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely Home

The Pineapple house is perfect for a short or long stay. Plenty of restaurants close by and easy access to downtown Tampa. The house is very quiet and cozy. I loved the decor! The owners did not miss a thing. The beds and bedding were fabulous! Make sure to notice the adorable pineapple front light! A few things to note. 1.) There is no driveway, street parking only. 2.) Located in an urban area, the area is undergoing gentrification. I would definitely rent again, five stars!

Very Lovely!

Beautiful house! My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights for to attend her Orientation at USF. Very close to all the areas we needed to be, Tampa, USF area and Brandon. Walking distance was perfect Armature WORKS. This was perfect for us to walk to get dinner then come back and chill. Property Owners have everything you need for your stay. Certainly, would recommend and will be returning. One thing I would suggest, guest staying for a period of time might want to put some things up vs suitcases. Closets did have a lot of room to hang items. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Great location

There to celebrate a cousin's 100th birthday we hardly used the kitchen, but it seemed well equipped as was the rest of the house. The beds were a little soft (we tried both) and reading lights around the house were not very good.., but the house was generally comfortable and the private yard a bonus. I struggled with the complicated TV operations and for the last two days found it impossible to unmute. Best part is the wonderful neighborhood. Great houses, quiet streets, and a five minute walk to the spectacular Riverwalk with shops and restaurants. Half an hour walk to downtown which has come alive since we were last in Tampa 10 years ago.

Busy Tampa

We stayed at The Pineapple House for 21 days. It was very nicely furnished and had everything we needed. We loved the high ceilings, the crown mouldings and the modern kitchen and decor. The house was close to the Riverwalk, the Armature Works, and Sprouts Market. We were warmly greeted with special treats and a lovely note. Our hosts were very nice and eager to help us when needed.

AMAZING!

I can't say enough about Pineapple Heights Haus. It's adorable! A wonderfully restored bungalow. It's exactly like the pictures and is well stocked with daily use items especially the kitchen. It's a great location. We walked down to Armature Works area-a must, very cool area. The house is also very close to a park if you have kids. We grilled most nights. If we are ever back in Tampa we will stay there again for sure. Lindsey was very responsive and a wonderful host!

One half of the ownership duo (Ingo) is German and came over to play soccer and study at The University of Tampa. That’s where he met his other half (the other half of this ownership duo, Lindsey who is originally from Ohio) and they started a little family (three kids + an adopted fur baby) and settled into Tampa Heights together. Ingo still has family living in Germany and they stay at Pineapple Heights Haus when visiting Tampa.

We live super close to Pineapple Heights Haus in the vibrant neighborhood of Tampa Heights. We have lived here for 10 years. It is ever-changing and evolving. We love it. We think you will too!

We spend the vast majority of our time at The Riverwalk/Armature Works/Ulele/Waterworks park area. Our kiddos are full of energy and there’s no better way to burn it off than biking to and walking around one of Tampa’s most beautiful spots.

Ingo’s day job is working at Salesforce as a Software Architect. Lindsey owns a small self-service laundromat. Pineapple Heights Haus is the only Airbnb we own and love. We truly enjoy hosting people from all over and getting to share our love of Tampa Heights, old bungalows, and Florida in general.

Tampa Heights is the most exciting neighborhood in Tampa with excellent walkability to some of the best entertainment and dining Tampa has to offer. We live in the neighborhood (just around the block) and we absolutely love it. We’re so excited to share our urban slice of heaven with you!

What makes this property unique

The location is unbeatable for walkability which is both a fun activity and money saver as Armature Works charges upwards of $20 for parking. We love the 11ft high coffered ceilings and the spaciousness of our little bungalow. It’s been fully renovated top to bottom and mixes the old and new beautifully. This bungalow has so much character and charm. Plus tons of natural light. And again, you can’t beat the location!
