Huge private deck with BBQ. Enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the birds sing. Walk or bike to Thetis Lake or visit the famous Six Mile and/or Four Mile Pubs. All within walking distance away. Great location. Easy to get downtown or up island. We had everything we needed to be comfortable for our 10 day stay. Terrific hosts who were responsive to our needs. Would definitely plan to stay here in the future!

Wonderful Stay

Melinda and Mike were fantastic hosts. They have a beautiful little spot that was extremely comfortable for our group of 3. We appreciated all of the small and thoughtful touches that made for a delightful stay. We highly recommend this place.

Everything was very tidy & organized. We had 3 adults & 1 infant. The stairs to access the facility were lengthy, but safe to use. The area was so very quiet & beds very comfortable. It is very clean and private. Well-stocked. Only for people who can do stairs up to the 2nd floor entrance. Safe, walkable neighborhood. Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac.

Great Stay

Melinda's above garage had everything we needed for a two week stay in Victoria with our baby. We loved the many windows and natural light. Nice big space. Beds were comfy.

Quiet and comfortable

We had a lovely three days at the property. The location is close to downtown as well as to many beautiful parks and beaches in the area. It is a very safe and quiet neighborhood. The hosts are friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here on my next visit to the area.

Family visit

Travelling with a 90 year old father and 3 family members I knew it would be difficult. However the place was large enough that we were able to have space for some alone time as required Lovely home and everything was amazing. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Lovely house, great location

My friend and I stayed in this lovely home for 5 nights. It was clean, close to restaurants and places to hike. On our second day we notified Melinda that we had an issue with the shower curtain rod and within minutes she come over to assess the problem. Melinda and Mike were quick to replace the curtain rod and there were no issues after that. I've stayed in several rental homes and this is the best one yet. And our hosts were wonderful to work with.

Excellent stay, best location.

We just stayed here as our Condo was being renovated. The accommodation is so much more then we expected. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds. Great Communications with Melinda. Very close to the main bus line, you don't really need a car to stay here. Within walking distance to the Hospital . We would highly recommend this cute Carriage house for your stay in the Victoria Area.

Amazing apartment!

This is one of the best VRBO stays that we've had. The apartment is large and exactly like the photos. The hosts were accessible if needed and helpful with hints of where to eat. I can't express just how comfortable we were in this quiet space. This only thing I would tell readers would be to not book if you have any mobility issues. The space is above a three car garage and you must carry your bags up a good flight of outside stairs. We knew this, and booked anyway because the place looked so lovely. We both have mobility issues so the climb was difficult for us but worth it. Also we both developed colds so those beds were wonderful places to rest! Thank you and I hope we can come again!

We are both born and raised in Victoria. Vancouver Island is truly paradise. We have the most beautiful beaches and nature environment.

Why they chose this property

We live in the View Royal area of Victoria. 15 min to downtown. Walk across the street to the famous Goose Trail. You can walk for a great dinner at the Four Mile pub about 25 minutes or drive in 2 minutes. Thetis Lake again a short walk away.

What makes this property unique

Completely self contained 2 bedroom carriage house. No basement suite here. Very private and furnished to make you feel right at home. Huge back deck for those summer BBQ and just generally hanging out.
