About this property
Curley Bear Ski Home - XC Trails - Hot Tub - Sleeps 10 - 10 mins to Resort
Location, Location, Location!
Curley Bear — Your Private Big Sky Ski Home
Make Curley Bear your home base for an unforgettable Montana ski vacation. This spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath private home sleeps up to 10 guests and gives families and groups the space and privacy of a full home—not a condo.
Big Sky Resort is approximately 15 minutes away, while cross-country skiing is even closer: in winter, the golf course directly behind Curley Bear becomes a groomed Nordic trail system. Step out the back door and head out for a morning or afternoon of cross-country skiing without getting in the car.
After a day on the mountain, come home, kick off your ski boots and relax in the private 6-person hot tub while taking in the Montana winter setting.
A Home Made for Families & Groups
With 4 bedrooms, 6 beds and room for up to 10 guests, Curley Bear gives everyone space to spread out while still enjoying time together.
The open living and dining areas make it easy to gather after a day outside, whether you're cooking dinner, relaxing by the fire, watching a movie or planning tomorrow's adventure. The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts before first chair to family dinners at home.
And because Curley Bear is a private home rather than a condo, your group can enjoy the space and privacy that make a longer Big Sky stay much more comfortable.
Ski Big Sky — Or Ski Right Out the Back Door
For downhill skiing and snowboarding, Big Sky Resort is about a 15-minute drive from the house.
For Nordic skiing, you don't even need the car. The golf course behind Curley Bear transforms into cross-country ski trails during the winter, giving you convenient trail access right outside the back door.
Whether your group consists of serious downhill skiers, Nordic skiers, or a combination of both, Curley Bear makes a great winter base camp.
Private Hot Tub & Montana Views
Few things are better after a full ski day than getting into a hot tub surrounded by a Montana winter landscape.
Curley Bear's private 6-person hot tub sits just outside the house, making it easy to unwind after skiing, snowshoeing or exploring Big Sky.
Keep an eye outside, too. Elk and other wildlife are frequent visitors to the area, and on especially memorable nights you may even get lucky enough to experience the Northern Lights—we've photographed them directly over Curley Bear.
Close to Big Sky Town Center
You're also conveniently located near Big Sky Town Center, giving you easy access to restaurants, après-ski, groceries, shopping and entertainment without giving up the space and privacy of your own home.
That combination is one of our favorite things about Curley Bear: you're close to everything you came to Big Sky to enjoy, but at the end of the day you return to your own private Montana home.
Add Yellowstone to Your Winter Adventure
For guests looking to experience even more of Montana, Yellowstone National Park can also be part of a winter trip. Winter offers an entirely different Yellowstone experience, with seasonal snowcoach and snowmobile excursions available into portions of the park.
It's a memorable addition to a longer Big Sky vacation and another reason to make Curley Bear your base for more than just a weekend.
