Gorgeous renovated (2023) cottage with unbeatable South-Lake location. This house is on a unique sandy shore with huge open water views- not a shallow, stagnant creek/cove- it's perfect for swimming, or just a day in the sun.

Tie up on our private dock, grill out and dine on the deck.

Closest cove by boat to Margaritaville and the Lake Lanier Islands Waterpark- affordable boat and jet ski rentals are directly across the water (this is HUGE!).

This is our only property - we're not a faceless property management company - so we love to go above and beyond to personalize your stay. We love our house... and we work hard to make sure our guests have amazing experiences to remember.

We needed a place to stay during a major renovation at our house. We live close by and wanted to stay in the same area. Mitch's place was perfect for us! We have 4 kids and needed a place for everyone to sleep. We felt right at home with all the amenities of a fully functional kitchen and laundry room as well. We enjoyed walking down to the lake and the kids loved playing and swimming by the water. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Great fit for our family of 6.

Beautiful home and great location

We stayed at this beautiful property for 4 nights over Thanksgiving weekend. It was a great location and plenty of room for our family of 3 to stay, and be joined by my mother and sisters family of 5. Helpful and friendly hosts!

Good location

Hosts are fantastic, and I’m sure they would one day like to finish the path leading to the lake with a more landscaped safe feature to enjoy the dock more, and back patio. Lots of trees and spider webs. I swept the back patio for them but could use a good power wash. Right now the path is through ground cover and have to really watch your step to avoid twisting an ankle on large twigs/very small branches. We’re both 60, in very good shape but my husband rolls his ankle easily, so we opted to not take the kayaks down the hill to the shore to avoid an injury. Lovely decor, very comfortable, not a great view from the house overlooking the lake due to so many trees/branches. Location is good with 5-10 min. drive to Buford or Cumming. Thank you for your hospitality Mitch and Lara!

Wonderful Hosts and Awesome Property

We stayed at this property while work was being performed at our home. We were originally only going to be there for 1 month but we had to extend it to two months unexpectedly. We spent Christmas and New Year's there and it was like a home away from home. Mitch and Lana were incredible! They welcomed us in for the 1st month and then extended our stay with no issue at all. The home is beautiful, the view is incredible, and there are many things to do in the surrounding area. Highly recommended!! Thank you Mitch and Lana for being such Great Hosts!!

A great family retreat

House was beautiful, everything we could have hoped for. Didnt realize we'd basically have our own private beach (im assuming its shared, but no one else used it the whole week). Mitch was great and helpful- highly recommend staying here

Family vacation

Our family had an amazing time at this property. We have stayed at multiple other cabins on lakes around Georgia and this was our favorite because of the beach access. There is a nice, sandy area to wade into the water so it is perfect for kids and to be able to float around and hang out (bonus that it’s dog friendly and our golden retriever loves to swim). House was beautiful and clean and the owners were very prompt and helpful with any questions we had. Would recommend!

Beautiful lake home!

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house. Everything was as described. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. There were also plenty of towels and bedding and supplies for the week. The home was very accommodating for 3 family groups. The common areas were set up nicely to spend time together- cooking, board games, movie time, etc, but there was also plenty of space if anyone needed a bit of alone time. The location is amazing! The beach cove was perfect and the home is in a very nice neighborhood. We watched some beautiful sunsets from the boat dock. The owner was quick to respond to any of our questions.

Wonderful lake house

a week by the lake, of course there's going to be some spider webs around the property but other than that clean. Nicely appointed, very comfortable.

Perfect home

This house was great, plenty of rooms and beds for a large group and the backyard is the best! Rented a boat and parked it in the dock that comes with the house, house has access to a small beach that is perfect for the doggies to play! Will definitely come back again!

Plenty of space and nice slake access

This house was perfectly situated on the south side of Lanier with a nice beach and dock. We had adequate space though a bathroom upstairs would be ideal. The only challenge was the home is clearly lived in. Many personal items were in drawers and there was no closet space in the master. We met the owner who was very friendly though he showed up on property multiple times. I’d stay here again but for less cost.

Fabulous Stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was in great shape. The only thing I would suggest to the host is to spend a little more time cleaning and organizing the kitchen. When we arrived, there was a lot of food left in the fridge and pantry. We ended up wiping down the inside of the fridge and throwing away a bunch of leftover food. Also, the cupboards were not very well organized and there were a lot of random things in various cupboards and drawers. It would be helpful to remove all the non relevant rental items and fully use the cupboards for what renters would need during their stay. I would also suggest providing new kitchen sponges. We ended up buying our own to use during our stay. Overall, though, we enjoyed the house very much and really appreciated the friendliness and responsiveness of the host.

House on Lake Lanier

House was fully equipped with everything needed for our trip. Plenty of paper products and cleaning supplies and towels etc.... Cable and internet were very good and access to Netflix and other channels was a plus. Great fire pit and hot tub. The track down to the lake was easily manageable for us in our 50"s but maybe difficult for some elderly individuals. The added deck was nice and outdoor lighting was great. Overall a great place to stay.

Great Family Vacation Destination

We booked a two week summer vacation here and it was awesome! It's a fantastic property for families with young kids. The private, sandy beach in a very private and swimmable cove occupied our kids for hours. They generously provide ample water toys (floating mats, kayaks), and the proximity to the Lake Lanier Resort marina is really convenient. The house has a nice bonus room that enabled visits by friends and family, their communication was excellent, and they included some other nice personal touches. We would definitely stay here again.

Lana and I are Atlanta natives who grew up dreaming of Lake Lanier. We love our house, and work hard to share amazing lake experiences with our guests.

We're just a regular couple - not a huge property management company - so we love to go above and beyond to personalize your stay. Our primary residence is about 30 minutes from the house if any issues should arise.

We use a top-notch cleaning service between each stay to completely disinfect everything, and of course provide fresh linens and towels.

The sandy shoreline, open blue water, and sunset views are very special, and make for an incredible lake experience even for guests who do not bring a boat.
