Wonderful beach cottage

My husband, young daughter, and I had a lovely stay at Marla’s beach cottage over 4th of July weekend! The cottage is immaculate, well appointed, and very cute. Beautiful flowering garden, quiet street and 6 minute drive to Narragansett Beach. Marla was very responsive and a great host. One of the best rentals we have ever stayed in!

Marla and Jeff did a wonderful job with this property. Plenty of extra, guest-welcomed, luxury touches. They make the most of a small property, including a private outside seating/dining area! 20 minutes to Newport, 5 minutes from Narragansett town and beaches.

Great Cottage!

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage very much. It's centrally located to everywhere we wanted to be (beaches). Very quite, nice street. The cottage was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Coffee or cocktails on the peaceful front porch each day was something we looked forward to. The flower gardens were impressive. This is a beautiful property!

Cozy Cottage

We had a great time at the cottage! It was exactly as described. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but close to everything. Marla is a great host, very responsive and easy to communicate with. She provided tons of recommendations for us based on our preferences. We loved the area and hope to be back one day!

When traveling, we love to book vacation rentals and always prefer them over hotels. We feel that the places we have stayed have contributed to our vacation experiences and are so excited to be able to offer those special experiences to our guests.

Why they chose this property

Simple—location! We're just down the street from Narrow River, which makes it super easy to grab our kayaks and paddle right out to Narragansett Beach. It’s a short, scenic paddle and one of our favorite ways to spend the day—beach time and kayaking all in one!

We also love how close we are to all the best parts of Narragansett—great beaches, amazing restaurants, and laid-back seafood shacks. But what really makes this spot special is the peace and quiet. The cottage sits at the very end of a dead-end street, right next to an old bird sanctuary. It feels totally tucked away and tranquil, even though you’re just minutes from everything.

It's truly the best of both worlds—coastal adventure and calm nature vibes all in one spot.

What makes this property unique

The cottage is the last home on a dead-end street abutting an old bird sanctuary. Sitting on the patio or covered porch, seeing the gardens and flowers while listing to birdsong makes it such a beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil spot.
