Description of the property was totally right--very relaxing cottage with a variety of amenities. We loved the house, the neighborhood and overall location. Great place to stay to explore Rhode Island.

Beautiful and well equipped cottage

We loved this cottage, everything was perfect, down to the decor and kitchen equipment and supplies. Really among the very best rentals we've stayed at.

Absolutely beautiful pollinator garden with hummingbirds and butterflies. We sat for hours on the front porch playing board games. It was wonderful, and I would completely stay there again.

Adorable, beautifully and tastefully renovated, we'd stay again..

Marla and Jeff did a wonderful job with this property. Plenty of extra, guest-welcomed, luxury touches. They make the most of a small property, including a private outside seating/dining area! 20 minutes to Newport, 5 minutes from Narragansett town and beaches.

Adorable cottage

Cute clean and comfortable. The perfect size and the perfect location to wind down from busy city life. Narragansett is the perfect New England coastal town to take in the views and have some clam kick and chowder.

Wonderful beach cottage

My husband, young daughter, and I had a lovely stay at Marla’s beach cottage over 4th of July weekend! The cottage is immaculate, well appointed, and very cute. Beautiful flowering garden, quiet street and 6 minute drive to Narragansett Beach. Marla was very responsive and a great host. One of the best rentals we have ever stayed in!

The cottage was beautiful in every way. It was obvious that a lot of planning and tender, loving care has gone into setting up a gracious environment for guests.Marla was responsive right away when we had questions. The flowers were gorgeous and definitely added to our experience.

Great Cottage!

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage very much. It's centrally located to everywhere we wanted to be (beaches). Very quite, nice street. The cottage was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Coffee or cocktails on the peaceful front porch each day was something we looked forward to. The flower gardens were impressive. This is a beautiful property!

Totally misleading

I was totally misled to believe this was a beach family getaway.It was more like a two person romantic vacation.I am considering legal action.

We are very surprised by this review. As we have already discussed, your reservation was for 2 people and you showed up with 9 people. Our listing clearly states our maximum occupancy is for 3 people and also clearly states this cottage is 660sqft. When booking, you are asked to read and agree to the rules, which again clearly state we have a maximum occupancy of 3 people, which is not to be exceeded. We cannot be held responsible for your choice to violate the rules and show up with 3x's our maximum occupancy, 7 additional people than your reservation was for. This is not a space for large gatherings. We never misled, listed, discussed, or advertised it as a space that can accommodate a large gathering, on the contrary, we are very clear that this is a space for no more than 3 people.

Spotless and comfortable. Everything works and there is nothing missing that you might need for an enjoyable stay. Outdoor areas are as nice as the interior and the covered porch was wonderful.

Cozy Cottage

We had a great time at the cottage! It was exactly as described. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but close to everything. Marla is a great host, very responsive and easy to communicate with. She provided tons of recommendations for us based on our preferences. We loved the area and hope to be back one day!
