Wonderful and relaxing!

The property was even better than anticipated. The ocean was right in front of the house, no other houses in the way of the ocean vistas. Perfect sunrises and sunsets every day. The most beautiful, quiet, restful place in Ocean View, and this was our fourth stay here. The occasional person we encountered on our walks was very friendly.

A Hawaiian Diamond in the Rough

Honestly, this is a great house we had no complaints. Everything we could have needed was there and if anything was needed the host was quick and prompt to either supply it or provide a solution. This is a beautiful house with better views than Mauna Kea’s observatory which is insane. If you're willing to hike a little bit you can have your own private beach (the rip is there but nothing too intense). We rented this house for our honeymoon, we stayed for 11 days. The only things worth noting are 1) Get here during the day because this house is pretty remote, you might find yourself either lost or in an old lava flow somewhere. 2) This house is remote so you won't have all the perks per se of a Grand Hyat Hotel. It has an above ground storage tank for water, it is powered by wind and solar largely with the exception of some propane. So don't plan on taking some long 15 min hot showers here, it just won't work. We would stay again if coming back, this place is truly a diamond in the rough.
