Snowmobiler's Paradise on the Chippewa Flowage! Luxury Lakehouse on Trails

Gorgeous lake home situated on the picturesque Moore's Bay on the Chippewa Flowage. Enjoy world class fishing, boating, snowmobiling, water sports, or a little R&R from this spacious comfortable home.
Located within walking distance to great resorts like Johnson's, Deerfoot, and Deer Run to grab a drink and a bite to eat.

BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: With a total of 5 bedrooms & 3 baths, everyone will have their space.
Main floor: 3 King bedrooms (master with ensuite) and a guest bath. On the lower level, you will find one Queen bedroom, one Bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds (twins over queens), and a full bath (with tub for the little ones).

LIVING SPACES:
Chef's kitchen fully equipped with all the essentials and more. Inside dining will accommodate up to 12 (2 tables)
Main floor is a large screen smart TV, gas fireplace and plenty of windows surrounding the open concept area.
Lower level is complete with a second living room with smart TV, DVD player, wet bar, second fridge, and games area. There is a chess/checkers table, dart board and selection of board games. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer for your convenience.

OUTSIDE:
Lakeside you will find an expansive deck with outdoor dining and a separate seating area with a fire pit table. You will have a gas grill (propane provided) and a large electric smoker. There’s a large grassy space with room for games (corn hole & lawn darts available) hammock, and a new brick firepit with plenty of seating for nightly campfires with s'mores. Stairs lead down to a new lakeside deck and dock with deep water at the end of the pier. Catch crappie right off the dock. Swim and sunbathe on the dock complete with swim ladder and deck chairs.
If our kayaks, and XL Lily pad are there at the dock then they are available for your group to use at no extra charge!
30 foot dock available for your boat. Launch ramp is 1 mile down the road. Plenty of space for parking cars and trailers on our property. Nearby resorts offer pontoon and fishing boat rentals (but they book up fast so make sure to reserve early).
Snowmobile or ATV right from the house on a legal snowmobile/ATV Rd, ¼ mile to the trail!
Included in your rental you will find:
Bed linens along with extra blankets. Bath (one per person), hand, and kitchen towels, garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Dishsoap and dishwasher pods, ground coffee, coffee filters, (traditional coffee maker plus a Keurig, bring your own K cups) cleaning supplies, propane. You must bring your own beach towels! Do not take the bath towels to the lake. Ample amounts of the above will be provided but if you run out they will not be replenished.

Internet: We have the ONLY internet available to us in the area, it is decent when there are just a few users. With larger groups and everyone connected it can be slow. We usually can stream Netflix without an issue. Internet will be upgraded whenever it becomes available but remember this is the Northwoods!

**We respect our neighbors greatly and only responsible groups will be considered. Max 12 people, 10 adults and 2 children…but will consider 12 adults....just note those 2 extra adults will have to sleep in twin top bunks! We are on a septic system so appropriate care must be taken by those staying in the home.
If you are looking for wild parties this is not the place for you. If you have little ones (or big ones) that are destructive and unsupervised then this is not the rental for you. This is our home.
Pack n Play and High Chair available. The bath towels provided are only to be used inside and not taken outside to be used as beach towels.

Short stays may be available in the prime summer season which do not always require 1 week rentals as most cottages do in the summer.. If your exact dates show as unavailable, reach out and we may be able to accommodate by adjusting our dates as we use home frequently.

The Lake House on the Flowage is ideal for a fun summer family gathering. You can see the lake in the morning sunshine from the kitchen or deck with a cup of coffee & in the evening while you are roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The dock was easy to use with a motor boat & pontoon. Appreciated the use of the kayaks, too. The house was fitted with everything we needed. Would definitely go back to the Lake House on the Flowage. Thank you!

Perfect Vacation

We had a fabulous week! The house was gorgeous and spotless. There was plenty of room for our family of 12 - grandparents, kids, and grandkids. The deck and yard were ideal for grilling, hanging out and relaxing, roasting marshmallows, and playing Frisbee or corn hole. They supplied anything you could want or need. Plus, it's in a great location. We plan to return next year!

Beautiful Home

This is a beautiful 5 bedroom home with every thing you need in it. The kitchen is awesome. The would deck is wonderful to sit out on if the mosquitoes don’t get to bad. The kids had lots of space to run around. We rented a pontoon boat . So with our pontoon boat and the owners pontoon boat and jet skis tied up it left just the front of the pier for the kids to swim but they did and had fun. Thank you !

Summer Memories

My sister and her family have a lake tradition every summer. We chose this home for my family’s first lake experience with my sister and it was so perfect! Beautiful views, relaxing lake, beautiful home with a great kitchen and common space. We LOVED the hammock and swing(every lake house has to have one for morning coffee and afternoon books) along with the fire pit for s’mores. The host was great! Responsive, thoughtful - all very well done. Thanks for the great 2022 summer memory.

Great Escape to the Northwoods

This weekend rental experience was absolutely fantastic. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. It is the perfect mix of Northwoods charm and modern conveniences. It was spacious and a perfect getaway for 5 couples on a snowmobile trip for Valentines Weekend. Our favorite parts of the home were the spacious main area for sitting together and chatting. Waking up to the beautiful sunshine while drinking coffee overlooking the lake. The bedrooms were spacious and the pillows were awesome. We appreciated the in floor heat in the bathrooms and the heated seat toilets after a long cold day of riding the snowmobile trails. The communication and home directions were excellent. Fabulous Property in Perfect Location

This home was absolutely perfect for our group of friends! Extremely well appointed with every detail thought out and attended to from a welcome basket to the most comfortable beds ever. This newly remodeled home located on the Chippewa Flowage was a perfect place to wind down after snowmobiling each day. The kitchen is fabulous and the heated bathroom flooring is a real treat coming in from the cold. This home offers room to spread out, a great view of the lake , starry night skies and even darts and chess/checkers table. The location is close to three resorts if you prefer not to cook as well! Our hosts were wonderful to communicate with prior to and after our stay.

An exquisite cabin escape

I hesitate to write this review, only because we want to keep the secret of this gorgeous home to ourselves! We (four adults and two dogs) booked a last minute trip to Hayward to celebrate the New Year. From the first inquiry we sent to Shelley, she was prompt and gracious in her responses to us and helped us figure out the details of our trip. When we arrived to the property, we were blown away. The pictures on the listing are great, but I'm not sure you can do this space justice through photos. The home was exceptionally clean and so much bigger than we expected! We didn't even use the downstairs space at all given how much room was on the main floor. The decor throughout was beautiful and the heated bathroom floors were a luxury! The view of the lake was breathtaking in the winter, so I can't imagine what it's like in the summer. Even though we could see steady snowmobile traffic out on the ice, we couldn't hear them. The major grocery store "in town" is about a 25-30 minute drive, but we were able to plan accordingly so we didn't have to make any unnecessary trips in (mainly because it was negative temperatures - the town is great!). There was a dog bed, dog towels, dog toys and bowls so our pups settled right in. Overall, this is not a rental to be missed - be sure to book before every date is snagged in 2022 and beyond!

We feel so grateful to have found our family cottage just down the road where we have spent many summer vacations. We love being on the flowage with so many acres to explore by boat or kayak.
