The ocean was readily visible and the beach at low tide could be seen over the dunes from inside the house. The view from the large picture windows was spectacular. We loved staying here and will likely do so again. Also - the bed in the MBR was very comfortable.

This was a truly stunning property - and my family enjoyed our week at the beach immensely. Pros: location, scenery from the kitchen and living room, fully stocked kitchen, some essentials provided (starter toilet paper rolls, dishwashing detergent pack/laundry pack/ sponge), pet friendly if that is needed.Cons: Beds and bedding were not too comfortable (usually expected at rentals but I always hope they will be). A few maintenance issues (outdoor shower handle snapped right off and bathtub drain was unable to be turned or dropped in to use bathtub) however the company handled these issues same day which was awesome! Notes for other families: be sure to bring beach towels, beach chairs and any necessary spices for cooking.Overall this house is truly gorgeous and the location cannot be improved. It was steps to the beach each day. We were so thankful to stay here! Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Cozy Beachfront Cottage

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy beachfront cottage. The house was very comfortable and well appointed. The ocean view from the house was beautiful. Nice restaurants are within just a few miles of the house.

Oak Island

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed staying in the house. It was our family and our pet lab. Location to restaurants was great, we were right on the beach literally. would stay here again.

Great relaxing trip

We had a great relaxing stay on Oak Island. The place was amazing and the porch looking at the ocean was my happy place. Steps to the beach! The only issue we had which was corrected quickly was no sheets had been left. The property manager fixed it right away.

AMAZING FAMILY VACAY

Had a WONDERFUL trip with family! Thoroughly enjoyed this rental. The views are unmatched - so close to the beach and waves (especially at high tide). The big windows provide an amazing view! The rental was clean and accommodating. Very well stocked kitchen - we cooked large family meals every night! Beds were comfortable. The only downside to this property is the plumbing made a terrible noise several times per night (sounded like the drainage pipes were being back washed or something - I was waiting for something to come out of the shower or sinks! LOL!) This might be normal for this area - I have never experienced noises like those from the bathroom drains. I still give this rental 5 stars and would definitely stay here again!!

There were roaches in the house, the dishwasher didn't work, the garbage disposal worked but sounded like it was grinding metal and the master bed was as hard as a brick. We left early. Flies were biting on the beach, certainly not anyone's fault. But coupled with the other issues we opted out! Won't be back.

We encourage all guests to alert us any time there is a maintenance issue so that we can address it as soon as possible. Our records indicate we were not notified until you left early because of a medical issue with your pet. The disposal is brand new in the home, the dishwasher was just on lock mode and the home was sprayed for bugs before your arrival. We hope your pet is doing well, and that you'll give Oak Island another chance!

We loved Lisa Lu! The cottage is so close to the Ocean and those views! Breathtaking! The house has high end appliances , King bed was super comfy and we will be renting this place again next year!
