About this property

Zion family Paradise!

This gorgeous house accommodates small family reunions or just your own family wanting plenty of spaces to spread out! Nestled between St. George and Cedar City you experience the coolness of the mountains but can also enjoy the heat of the desert! Located literally across the highway from the Kolob part of Zion National Park you can have adventures in 10minutes!

We are also located within 45 minutes of SW entrance of Zion, Sand Hollow resort, Snow Canyon and Cedar Breaks. Bryce Canyon and North Grand Canyon are within 2 hours. Skiing and snowmobiling at Brian Head are within 45 minutes.
But you may never want to leave the house! We have a beautiful open floor plan on the main level where kitchen, living room and loft all open in to one space, with fantastic vaulted wood beam ceilings. There is a private study for those who still need to work on vacation. A huge dining room will accommodate 12-16 guests at the table, with space that opens in to the foyer for another table(provided). There are 2 master suites on the main floor.
Please note there is a large separate garage/apartment that we occupy on occasion. This does not interfere with our guests at all-we only use it to sleep in while our main house is booked.

Wedding weekend in New aHarmony

We were a family of 16 adults and had plenty of room. The twin beds were a little small for adults but we made it work. The house and property were perfect for our gathering and the views from the house were fantastic. The house was close to Zion so it was convenient for our hikes. The house had plenty of housewares in the kitchen so preparing meals was easy.

Great for a large family

We had a Thanksgiving family reunion and the house was wonderful for our large group. We used the whole house! It was nice having the extra fridge and kitchen in the basement for all the holiday preparation. The fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. We hiked in the mountains and were amazed how close they were. Great house and wonderful hosts!!

Home away from home

Beautiful and well appointed home! We had a large, extended family group. The little kids enjoyed the play areas both inside and outside. There back patio was the perfect start and end to each day with enough comfortable seating for everyone. The house was tastefully decorated for Halloween (a fun surprise). This place is awesome, one of the best I have stayed. The hosts were on the phone shortly after we arrived to welcome us. This house is made with Grandkids in mind. The boys bunk room had all the beds look like ships and the girl's bunk like dolls. Workout area TVs everywhere. Great space in kitchen, living and back patio area. Big kitchen for large family meals. The yard play area is great. The power company shut off power for a few hours because of a wildfire nearby so no devices worked. The kids were forced to play in the yard with life sized chess board, trampoline and play toy. Dogs loved it as well. Cant say enough about this place.

Christmas at Zion Family Paradise

Our overall experience was amazing. The house is beautiful and was decorated for Christmas when we arrived. That brought tears to my eyes. So comfortable and in a wonderful location to various places such as Zion. Very quiet. Hostess was so kind and thoughtful and we communicated often. What a great way to celebrate Christmas and New Years.

Perfect for our family

This home was a great place for our family reunion. It had a great yard, and was quiet and secluded to allow us to enjoy being together. The home accommodated our family, but be aware that the futon/sofa bed accommodations are not quite accurate. If you're counting on beds for people ... do not count on those for beds for your party. Overall, we had a good experience and the owner was sweet a very accommodating.

Heaven on earth

Words can not describe the feeling of warmth and relaxation we felt in this home. You honestly feel as if you are visiting family! The home is so well decorated and the holiday decorations were a special touch. You can feel the pride that the owners have for their home. You are surround by peace inside and out and trust me when I say you will not want your stay to end. Have I mentioned the incredible hosts?! They are so welcoming and kind! Great Awakenings

This large piece of property is a well Sculpted for the rough elements of the seasons. Centrally located is a very large cabin style home which is very well laid out and functional for large family life and gatherings. Every window in this blessed high energy home offer views that take you away. The feelings of the owners pride of their home and family values is very well in printed and a very hart warming experience.

Perfect in Everyway!

We held our family reunion here and it was amazing! The property is beautiful, spacious, and everything was spotless.The pictures don't do the home justice! There was plenty of room for our group of 17. Our "littles" loved the themed pirate and princess rooms, and the teenagers enjoyed the workout equipment and the big screen TV for movies. The kitchen was well stocked, and the deck on the back of the house is large and comfortable, providing exquisite views of the valley. The large, grassy area in front was perfect for family games, with nightly campfires and s'more making in the fire pit. Our host was more than gracious and attentive. This is an excellent location to Zion Nat'l Park, the nerarby resevoirs, Red Cliffs, and Snow Canyon, as well as the city of St. George and activities there. We can't say enough about this property and we will definitely be back!

Great place for kids!

We had a great time here. The kids had so much fun with the playground, fun toys, wii, and the little girls dress up room. Our only complaint was that there were a few basic items that weren’t available, and the kitchen was short some essentials for cooking. We couldn’t find any washcloths for showering until the last day, we found a few in only one of the master bathrooms. Gathering around the big beautiful and inviting dining table was difficult with our group of 19 because of the chair situation. Having a stack of folding chairs would have been so helpful. Adding a few kitchen essentials would have been a great bonus too. A sieve strainer (we needed to strain our turkey drippings and were out of luck), a bigger whisk, a citrus juicer, and a knife set that is sharp and includes a chefs knife. Overall this was a great place, and would definitely recommend for a large gathering with lots of kids.

I apologize for the lack of washcloths. Unfortunately we do not advertise a chefs kitchen, and only provide very basic necessities. We do provide a knife sharpener, 2 strainer bowls, a large whisk. We have 12 chairs in the house, plus a bench that can fit around the dining room table. We also have 4 chairs at the kitchen counter.

Great for a group but needs improvement

If planning a trip to Zion with a larger group, this house may be okay! It’s an easy drive to the park and the house sleeps plenty of people. However, we had some issues with the cleanliness of the property and how unprepared the house was when we arrived. We arrived at 4pm, which is check in time. The cleaners were still present. The cleanliness of the house was problematic— it was like the cleaners just poured carpet powder on the floors to make the house smell good (which the smell was completely overwhelming and we had to open window to air it out) and left. We had to unload the dishwasher. We had to wash towels (that we were later told were clean but they were in a basket by the washer and dryer). The furniture was covered in pet hair and there were feces in the yard— which we did being our dogs, but we had to write the owners to let them know so that we didn’t get fined. The basement has a very musty and wet smell to it which is also overwhelming when down there. Furthermore, there were no soaps, shampoos or anything like that left out for renters— I’m not sure if this is norm, or because the cleaners didn’t replace them. Luckily we had brought some and then bought more from the store. I also found it odd that 4 packages were delivered (on different days) when we were at the property. It just made the experience feel less private. Moral of the story, the property is just okay— but for the price they are asking, it should be much better.

Thanksgiving Family Gathering

Previous guests left the property late,...the cleaning crew did not have the needed time to clean thoroughly before our arrival. Hostess was very apologetic and in all ways made our time there very comfortable. Delila was very responsive and supportive of all of our requests and needs.

Great Location and Property

Had an amazing wedding. Great location plenty of parking. Lots of amenities. The only downside was the home was a bit dusty and I was sneezing a lot. Beyond that perfect visit. I would recommend this for anyone looking to stay for an event in St George or Zion.
