About this property

Perched just above the village of Stinson Beach, this beautiful light filled home has lovely ocean and mountain views throughout, and 2 spacious bedrooms on separate floors, each with ensuite bathrooms. There are decks on both levels, an outdoor shower, and a hot tub overlooking the ocean. The open plan living room features vaulted ceilings and a wood burning fireplace. There is a smart TV and an Apple TV. No cable. The well stocked gourmet kitchen is equally ready for cooking (coffee, teas, spices, olive oil and great cookware) or bringing meals in from the best of Stinson's fabulous food offerings, just steps away in the village.
Luxuriate and relax in an intimate setting, or help yourself to beach towels and chairs and go play in the waves with the house boogie boards on Stinson's two mile stretch of pristine beach. Just as convenient are trailheads to Mt. Tam's amazing network of hiking. No pets. Bed Configuration: 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Futon couch.
PLEASE NOTE: This home requires attention to water conservation due to its hillside septic system. The property can sleep four people only and two more are allowed for day use.

Great Stinson Beach House!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house in Stinson Beach. Great location up the hill from the beach and the Parkside restaurant and bakery (great bakery, you must get their bread, some of which is thankfully included in the welcome pack upon arrival!) Also just above the market so all of our needs in that department were easily covered within close walking distance. The house is beautifully decorated and is very bright and cozy with stunning views of the coast. The trailheads of the Dipsea and Matt Davis trails are also within walking distance, a real bonus. We hiked the Dipsea ( highly recommended) and returned to enjoy the hot tub that evening, a relief for our sore muscles. The whole place is wonderfully outfitted with everything anyone would need for their stay at this beautiful location. One thing to be aware of is the limited drying capability of the dual wash/dryer unit. You can wash a small/ normal load but you MUST pull out at least half of what you washed and then run the dryer. So that process is a bit time consuming. Maybe save that for a down or rainy day. Overall a fantastic property and we would definitely stay here again!

Great Location for a Family of Four

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very relaxing and rejuvenating week in the house and would definitely stay here again. We could hear and see the waves, walk easily to the market, beach and town and access lots of trail heads by foot. Even walked to Muir Woods one day. Pictures are very accurate.
