This amazing townhouse remodel brings the true spirit of Bavaria to downtown Helen, Georgia! It is gracefully embellished in a rustic Bavarian farmhouse finish.

The chalet features an open kitchen with granite counter tops and full-size appliances. It has a large cast iron sink and offers bar stool seating for quick snacks. There are two spacious pantries, one for food items and the other with prepping/cooking tools and food storage containers. Cabinets are full of dishes, bakeware, and stovetop cookware. The authentic farmhouse dining table sits just off the kitchen in a glass filled room. It’s high above the ground and privately surrounded by hardwood trees. Watching squirrels and birds and perhaps even a bear meandering at ground level can be enjoyed from this area. (Windows purposely do not open in this room.)

The living room is most welcoming with comfortable seating including a perfect reading chair, Smart TV for streaming favorite apps, and an electric fireplace for creating mountain coziness.

The main level bedroom has a king bed and is colored in Appalachian blues. A full-size bath (shower only) on the main level is accessible from the master bedroom and commons area. A linen closet houses bath accessories, river towels, and a small vacuum.

The upper level bedroom has a queen size bed and is vividly decorated in remembrance of native Americans who once occupied the land. There’s a full-size bath (shower only) on this level also accessed from the bedroom and commons area. Bath accessories are provided in the linen closet along with a small vacuum.

The loft area is furnished in memory of Herman, a local black bear who once used Alpenrosen Strasse to stroll back and forth across the mountain. Other canvases of local waterfalls show glimpses of hiking areas near Helen. The loft provides access to a private upper deck, perfect for enjoying coffee, reading, conversation, and using a tablet/laptop, etc. It has two large rockers with a side table and two chairs with a side table. Queen-size bed. Guests will feel like they’re in a treehouse!

The chalet also offers a full size washer and dryer.

The wrap around decking makes it convenient to go from front to back areas. A gas grill is housed in the back with outdoor seating.

Parking for 2 vehicles only. Please do not park vehicles in privately owned cul-de-sac.
