We really liked to location - close to everything - were able to walk to dinner every night. Enjoyed the porch in the evening with wine and cheese. We had a minor issue with parking. A person took our parking space but we resolved it with a quick call to the emergency number where Larry told us where to park. Overall it was a great place to stay.

We have stayed in quite a few places in Helen and this place is truly a gem, perfect location we did not have to drive. Kids loved playing and walking in the creek. We could see the tubers from the living room window and hear the quite flow of the river in the evenings. Tons of space inside! We are definitely booking here again.

Location Location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time and rented both sides of this unit for our large family! It was nice that they had a connecting door so we felt altogether. The location was perfect. It was clean and we loved watching all the tubers get stuck on the rocks out front! Great stay! My only recommendation would be to add a firepit. That would be a great addition. The kitchens also need a pitcher of some sort. Neither kitchen had one and we had to put lemonade and tea in kitchen pots.

Pros: Good location. Cons: King bed mattress needs to be replaced. Couch on the porch is in rough shape as well. Only salt and pepper in the kitchen. Very bare bones. You’ll need to bring extra paper towels, toilet paper, etc.

Absolutely wonderful! We loved staying at Chattahoochee River House 1! The property was beautiful, convenient, and very peaceful and relaxing. Easy access to the best fishing spots, shopping, and entertainment. The owners and management were prompt and very kind. We would love to stay here again sometime. Thank you very much!
