Overview

About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 3)

You won't find a better location at Kuilima. Our lovely ground floor unit is on the desirable 'East Side', right at the 18th hole. Out of the 330 condos here at Turtle Bay Kuilima, our condo is set closest to the beach, so we know you will find the location to be ideal.

Turtle Bay Beach is just a 2 minute walk. It is the perfect kid friendly beach for swimming and snorkeling all year round, even when the waves are huge here on the North Shore. A favorite for many is to watch the sunset at the resort, as there is a really great surf break right in front of the bar. Enjoy a cocktail and Pu Pu's while watching surfers catch perfect waves as the sunsets. This is a true Hawaiian experience in every way.

We also have miles of hiking trails, horseback riding, scooter/bike rentals, helicopter rides, kayaking, surf lessons, tide pools, fruit stands, shrimp farms, surf competitions at Banzai Pipleine, and seven miles of the worlds best surfing beaches.

Paradise awaits. Aloha.

About Mark W

Local residents here on Oahu. We have a wonderful property manager that lives close by at Turtle Bay if you need anything during your stay.

Why Mark W chose Kahuku

We spent long weekends and holidays at Turtle Bay Resort (then known as Kuilima)in the early 70's. This was our 'Outer Island' without the expense and hassle of flying to the neighbor islands. When it became possible to purchase a Condo, we jumped at the chance. We had tennis and golf plus the unspoiled Hawaii that we dream of. Remarkably, it hasn't changed much!

What makes this condo unique

Natural beauty. Old Hawaii with modern luxury. Hidden beaches. Bird Sanctuaries. Ocean breezes off the point keep us cool year round. 24 hour security guard for peace of mind.

Good location

  • 4 of 5

The condo was situated in a good location. It was comfortable, well presented and a value for your money.

My only criticism would be for the condo association to have community gas grills for bbq’ing.

The condo has everything you need for a complete vacation. Modern, well kept, great 18th green location, wonderful breezes with wide open layout. Modern appliances, great bed, comfortable furniture, relaxing lanai. Turtle Bay is awesome. Lots of great dining, a variety of activities, amazing sunsets and the North Shore has it all! Mark and Beverly were great to work with.

Lovely place, great price, and so close to the beach!

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I stayed at this condo for a week, and it was lovely. It was clean, comfortable, and having the full kitchen and washer and dryer was perfect. Being February, we never had to use the A/C, and there was a lovely breeze blowing through the condo the whole time. We stopped at the Foodland across from Shark's Cove (Pupukea) on the way in and picked up some groceries - it's a very short drive, and we went a few times during our trip. Aside from the amenities, it's an easy 5 minute walk to the beach out the back door, and this beach is wonderful!!! I recommend you bring your own snorkel gear or just buy some cheap at the Foodland, as there was only one leaky snorkel at the condo, and the snorkeling at the cove is wonderful. They did have two beach chairs and 2 decent boogie boards. Also, bring water shoes, I saw someone step on an urchin and saw many while snorkeling, but was never worried with my reef walkers on.

We didn't regret for a minute that we didn't stay at the resort in a hotel room, paying more than twice the price! Bev greeted us when we arrived and she was very helpful. She lives on the other side of the complex and was able to give us lots of information about the best places to eat, etc (Lei Lei's at the golf course, btw!). It was a homey and nice place to stay while we enjoyed the magic of the North Shore.

Wonderful home away from home in paradise!

  • 5 of 5

My teenage daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights and loved it! The condo is overall very comfortable, well laid out, and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable allowing for great sleep. The unit was clean and the owners were wonderful to work with along the way. It is the closest unit to the beach of the condos, which was nice. A very easy walk. Beautiful resort feel without having to pay the high price of Turtle Bay resort itself. Nice public beach suitable for swimming for all ages. The trails surrounding the area are great to walk and explore. The complex is gated so we always felt safe. Next time I come to North Shore, I will definitely come back to this unit.
