Sparkling clean, Hot shower, Beach chair’s & umbrella. Comfortable bed (medium to soft). Easy walk to the beach. Friendly, helpful owners.Minor things: Google has location about 2 minute walk closer to beach than it is. The main curtain lets in a lot of light so bring sleeping mask. No toaster.

Good stay at the North Shore

This is a great place to stay on the North Shore. The unit is part of an older building, but it is well maintained and spotlessly clean. It’s in a great location for exploring this beautiful part of the island. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Everything was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. Hosts Vera and Charlie thought of everything, from the clear directions to finding the place to all the good information about where to eat and beach access. Charlie was so good to tell us about good hikes and even filling up the Keurig water. We have enjoyed the beach chairs, cooler and umbrella and just the security of being in the gated community. The North shore area is away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu, (farm fresh fruit from a close farm stand) but near great beaches and other attractions. Thank you so much for sharing !

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed review! It’s wonderful to hear that Vera and Charlie went above and beyond to make your stay seamless and comfortable—from clear directions and local tips to thoughtful touches like filling the Keurig and providing beach gear. The peaceful North Shore setting, paired with the security of the gated community and access to fresh fruit and scenic hikes, sounds like the perfect escape. We’re so glad you had a great experience and hope you’ll return again soon!
