This Beautiful one bedroom loft is located between pipeline beach and sunset beach at the famous surf spot 'Rocky Point'. We are just 4 houses from the the beach. The North shore bike path is just steps away. (and yes, we have two bikes for you to use!) You can easily ride your bike anywhere you need to go on the North Shore. There are multiple gourmet food trucks that park all along the bike path. One of our favorites is the elephant truck (thai food) and our kids favorite is the brick oven pizza truck which is across the street from us in the evenings. Turtle bay resort is just a 10 min drive up the road and is a fun place to dine, watch the sunset over the ocean at the pool bar while listening to live music, or partying after dark at the famous surfer bar.
Rocky Point Studio sleeps 3 to 4 people and is ideal for a couple or small family. There is a full size bed upstairs in the sleeping loft. A queen size bed in the small downstairs bedroom, and a full size futon in the living area. The open beam ceilings make this one bedroom studio feel open and airy, lots of windows to let in the trade winds and sunlight. Surrounded by palms, plumeria, and avo trees, and with a view of all the surrounding Rocky Point neighborhood, you get the feeling of being in your own island tree house. :) You also have your own private deck for BBQing and relaxing after a long Hawaiian day.
This is a separate unit from the main house on the property. My husband and I live in the main house with our two boys and we are always happy to answer any questions you may have about surf spots, beaches, restaurants.. etc.. :)
The property is very safe, and is enclosed by a fence and gate. We also have two cruizer bikes for your use.
We have dozens of nice, funny, creative, 5 star, awesome comments in our actual guest book that we keep in the rental for all of our guests from around the world to sign. Here are just a few of our favorites... :)

Thank you so much for providing such an inviting space at such a beautiful location. It was incredible being able to enjoy the beach and grill fresh seafood on a private patio. For one of us, it was our first time on Oahu, and you have definitely helped create an indelible experience. We cant wait to be back!

Thank you guys for having us! We had the bestest honey moon (hawaiimoon)
To sum up our trip... surf, sandy toes, whales, turtles, pushies, giggles, beers, sunsets, selfies, rain, sunshine, pipe dreams, barrells, smiles, and good times!
The Hawaiian people are so welcoming and happy. We felt like we were at a home away from home.

Thank you so much, we loved our little home away from home. You provided the perfect place for the first part of our honeymoon. We had everything we could possible need, thank you.
Although the weather was not nice during our stay, we were perfectly comfortable and happy to stay indoors. This is our second time to the north shore and we will be back again!!!

We had the BEST vacation while staying here! From start to finish, everything ran smoothly and was beyond our expectations. Lynsey and Chris were gracious hosts - helpful, respectful and hospitable. The space is perfectly located in a quaint North Shore neighborhood just minutes away from WALKING to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. If we weren't on the beach, we were cooking a meal at the unit, shopping in historic Haleiwa, which is just a short drive away, or enjoying the bike path right out front. The space had everything we could have asked for (washer/dryer, bikes, kitchen) and more. We can't wait to go back to experience the beach walks, peaceful sunsets, colorful snorkeling, golfing and epic relaxation. Thank you for the ALOHA, Lynsey & Chris!
I absolutely recommend this place, it was perfect for us. We only spent one night on Oahu on the North Shore and did not want to spend the night at a pricey hotel. Beautiful, comfy and clean. Great location! The owners Linsey and Chris were very nice and very helpful! We'll be back, hopefully for a longer stay. Aloha!
Pros: We enjoyed our stay, the place was clean and comfortable. The hosts left a binder with information and returned texted questions promptly - nice recommendations for food and things to do. There were enough windows to get a nice breeze so it was never too hot. Nice to have a kitchen to cook in, including a coffee maker. Also had nice bathroom towels and beach towels and wifi. Location was convenient to Turtle Bay, Waimea Falls, and Haleiwa without being in the town itself.
Cons: While property is only 4 houses from beach, you don't hear the beach. It's on a small street parallel to the highway so you get a lot of constant traffic noise and no beach noise. We were hoping to hear the ocean, not motorcycles zooming by as we tried to fall asleep. The beach is called "Rocky Point" for a reason - it is very rocky and not very swimmable in November. Parking can be a little problematic - you don't have your own space and parking is limited - during the day the surfers come and park. We didn't have much of a problem but I could see during the surf contests when people flock up to north shore, it could be a problem. The place is up a flight of stairs, so not recommend to someone with knee problems. The loft area is really low roof and up a ladder, so not a lot of space - would be ok for a kid. We slept in the bed downstairs, but it is against the wall/window on the right side and not much space to crawl out at the foot of the bed either, so I had to crawl over my husband to get up during the night. There were only two of us so it was ok, but you would feel cramped to have more than a couple adults staying here.
I recommend the Coffee Gallery in Haleiwa for coffee, the Aloha General Store for ice cream, Pupukea Grill truck for spicy tuna bowl and hummus wraps, Turtle Beach for swimming (more sheltered - although bring something to sit on - if you don't stay at the resort, the beachchairs are $8 each for rental). Check out "red dirt t-shirts" also in Haleiwa.
This cute, basic loft studio was PERFECT for my wife and I and our 2 kids. You can't beat walking to the beach and sleeping with windows open and an ocean breeze. Lynsey and family keep it neat and tidy and it was nice to fix our own food at home. Lynsey is very helpful and reachable by phone or text if you have any questions or issues.
It's located beyond some of the congestion you can get at Pupukea, but still close enough to the conveniences (great food trucks, shopping) you find there.
In the winter this would a great home base if you surf!
We stayed here a while back and I wanted to write a review mostly to thank the host family for the wonderful time we had! We were there for over 3 weeks during May-June of 2014. The location is perfect, and is a walk away from the best beaches on the North Shore. We loved our stay! I've been trying to get back to Hawaii for another visit!
This sweet little place was perfect for four of us, we had such a great time! It was great having the bikes and snorkel stuff provided, and being so close to the beach was exactly what we were looking for. Walking distance to my favorite Thai food truck and Ted's Bakery, plenty of space to cook a full meal or play cards at the table. Everything was perfect! Thanks!
