Great Outside Space

Relax on your screened porch enjoying the mountain air, or spend time on the lower deck in the hot tub or just relaxing on the swing. If alfresco dining is your thing, your upper deck is the best spot at the cabin to take in the stunning views. Plus, who doesn't love a good campfire and we have just the place for you. For those cooler evenings, we provide an infrared heater on the screened porch and a propane patio heater on the upper deck.

Where You'll be Sleeping

The cabin is furnished with 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. Both have their own flat-screen TVs. Off the queen room is our office/bunk room: perfect for working or a space for the kiddos to sleep. The maximum number of guests would be up to 6 humans. We think 4 adults and 2 kids, or, 2 adults and 3 kids is just perfect.

The Main Living Space

Your cabin is open and airy, with just the right mix of contemporary furnishings and cabin cozy. Sink into your sectional around the fireplace & stream your favorite channels or play a board game. Inside the kitchen, you'll find everything you need to cook yourself dinner from scratch (basic spices included)! Plus, we provide paper products and coffee, cream, and sugar during your stay. Outside is a propane grill for your use. The dining room comfortably seats six and has stunning views of the mountains.

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. You'll have access to: washer/dryer, outside heaters, iron, blow dryer, towels, soap, napkins, coffee and more.

Guest access

The day before your arrival we will message you with check-in details. We are owner-operated! No meeting for keys just arrive at the cabin! We are real people with real jobs just like you!

Other things to note

The cabin is equipped with an exterior camera. The camera is ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside. Just a reminder that you are surrounded by mountain wildlife, which includes bears, bugs, poisonous snakes, etc. We encourage you to watch where you step. Always be sure to keep outside trash locked up and food out of your car! Keep cabin doors closed if you want to keep outside critters, well, out.

Was a nice cabin. Although the dishes were dirty in the cabinets and the spices were also 2 years expired. And to be on a mountain surrounded by woods there was nowhere to hike with everything being private property. The driveway also had a bad odor which is were the fire pit is placed.

Ridgecrest Cabin was absolutely lovely! Views were great! Extremely comfortable, cozy and clean! Great location. Hiked 2 days right from the cabin! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Ridgecrest Fall Retreat

The Ridgecrest mountain cabin was simply wonderful! So cozy for our family of 3 adults. We all slept well and enjoyed all the outdoor spaces although the temps this week overnight were in the 30’s with a good wind, so we didn’t maximize our time outside. The kitchen had everything we needed to make the meals we chose to make. The location was gorgeous, accessed by 1.5 miles of winding mountain roads, with a rear view of the mountains and the most gorgeous sunsets! Being from south Florida we really enjoyed late fall at Ridgecrest in the mountain woods and would definitely return!

Relaxing Time

Best I've stayed at in Blue Ridge!

We come to blue ridge every year and stay in a different cabin (just due to different group sizes, availability, etc) and this was by far my favorite! The view was AMAZING and even better than the pics. Despite this house looking pretty south of BR on the map, the trip into town was super super quick and painless. There was tons of seating and outdoor living space to relax in. The fire pit was easy to use and the s'more stuff left by the owners was a great touch. The property was spotless, as well. We cooked dinner in every night and all of the cookware was insanely helpful. The kitchen definitely had more "amenities" than i've ever had before in a rental. The beds were comfortable and the blackout curtains were unreal!! The power was out when we got to the property (due to a storm it was out in most houses in the area) and the owners responded to my messages immediately and were super helpful. One tip: the road that apple maps wants you to take in and out is pretty scary. Our neighbor across the street let us know that if you turn left instead of right out of Cohutta Mtn Rd when leaving the property the apple maps will reroute and take you down a much safer path without adding on time to the trip. All in all, we loved this property and we do plan on returning in the future! you will not regret booking this property!!

Good Isolation

Ideal location to get away from the hubbub of life. Perfect size for 2 people. Could have cooked had I planned that. Comfortable 15-20 minute drive to everything we might need.

Perfect family getaway cabin!

We stayed at the Ridgecrest Cabin the last week of June. We are a family of 5, with kids of ages 9, 13, and 16. This was perfect for us. The cabin had everything we needed at a rental/hotel accommodations included. I forgot our body wash and toothpaste and the owners already had some for us. There is a Walmart nearby where we stocked up on fridge items as well. The cabin has the perfect views and very comfy living spaces. We hung out on the couch, played Blueridgeopoly on the deck waiting for the sunset, or in the hot spa. Very comfy beds also. We explored the city early in the morning after a hearty breakfast at the cabin and came back right before dusk. For those planning itineraries - we visited Dick’s Creek Falls, Amicolola State Park, Appalachian Trail Rides for horseback riding, Blueridge Scenic Train ride, the downtown areas of Ellijay and Blue Ridge, and Mercier Orchards. We loved every second of our mountain adventure. Thank you owners, for being extremely communicative with us!

50th Anniversary Trip

We decided to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with a first-time trip to the mountains in Georgia. Bradley and Monica's cabin was perfect for our stay in Blue Ridge. Instructions were received very timely, kitchen well equipped, new appliances, bedrooms and bathrooms very nice, gorgeous sunsets from the various porches, close to Blue Ridge for shopping/dining, and roads that take you to other areas for hiking, zip lining, waterfalls, sightseeing. They have taken the time to definitely make your stay in the cabin comfortable and inviting. Definitely would recommend this cabin and give it a 10!

Highly recommended!

We throughly enjoyed our short stay at Ridgecrest Cabin - wish we could have stayed longer! Uniquely designed with nice combination of indoor/outdoor spaces. We had an amazing sunset view. Really nice touches and attention to comfort/guest needs throughout the proprty -- (heaters in screened in porch and upper deck, smores kit, , designated towels for the hot tub, binder of personal area recommendations, etc.). Helpful communication from the host. Highly recommended!

Kid free getaway

My fiancé and I spent 4 days here. Our stay was amazing. The view is beautiful, the cabin is so clean and cozy.

Great place

The cabin was very clean and had great amenities that helped us feel right at home. Well decorated and cozy to feel both like a cabin and classy home. The hot tub was great and we spent a lot of time in it. It is located on the lower deck with no quick door access inside, so be sure to bring slippers or a robe if you are getting in during cold weather. They have a nice hook for hanging your things while you soak. We really appreciated the fire wood and s'mores kits because failed to bring those items. View is also amazing and the little heater next to the outside couch allowed us to enjoy the view on chilly mornings. It really is a great place and we hope to come back.

Wonderful secluded cabin

Once you find the property, it is everything that you could want. The views from the porch are spectacular. We really enjoyed spending time on the porch and watching the sun go down. The property owners were very nice and willing to make our stay enjoyable. Would highly recommend this property.

Relaxing family time!

Our family had an amazing time at the cabin. The views were incredible and the kids enjoyed connecting with nature and being outside. We loved the hot tub and the fire pit. The house was the perfect set up for our family. It was an easy trip to downtown Blue Ridge. Truly one of the most relaxing vacations we have been on in years!

The view is amazing. The sky is every changing over the mountains and it's easy to take it in on our screened porch or upper deck.

Modern décor in a cozy cabin! All of our outside areas have their own heaters (from a propane firepit, to a tower heater, we have you covered for those cool night). We've carved out lots of outside sitting areas to enjoy the view from different vantage points.
