We don't understand this review at all. We have everything you could possibly need; every tenant so far has said they've rarely seen such a well-equipped house. We have a coffee machine for K-cups and filters, a microwave, a stove, a kettle, a blender, a toaster, and all the necessary dishes, pots, pans, etc. Everything is there. What was missing? You could have just asked if anything is missing but if we don’t know we can’t act. No previous tenant miss anything in our kitchen and we also live several times a year ourself in the house and don’t need more stuff. But we could have obtained the missing part if we had known about it. The trash can isn't very big for a good reason: to encourage daily emptying. We live in Florida and have cockroaches and ants. To avoid attracting them, we decided to keep the trash can smaller. With only two people living in the house most of the time, we've never had any complaints.

We had an excellent stay at this home! It had everything needed for a month-long stay and the neighborhood was wonderful. By far the quietest and most relaxing place we have ever stayed. We enjoyed the shell scoop on days we went to the beach and the pool was great. The location was close to friends, restaurants, shopping, and marinas. We enjoyed many fishing adventures- surf fishing and some charters. Everyone encountered during our stay was so friendly: Petra, Jeff (pool guy), the exterminator, and all the neighbors. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We loved this little get away. Our favorite morning ritual was to sit in the front and watch the birds. You have a perfect little spot to see the canal. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

Overall a good stay

Overall good but need to provide info on the pool and the pool man, with A/c issues need to provide fans for bedrooms. Also would be nice to have beach chairs.

Hi Bruce, what was the Problem with the Pool? You could have contacted us or our property management at any time if there were any problems. We never had problems with our Pool man before and if there was any issue he would clean it up immediately but if we don´t know any issue we can´t do anything. He make the maintenance every week. Also what A/C issue was, never had any problems before without fans in the bedrooms and A/C is working in all bedrooms too. If there was an issue of working you must let us know, so we could have send a technican to have a look. We had beach chairs but these were unfortunately damaged by other tenants. Nice would have been in case of problems or wish a contact with us or property management, so that we could have solved the problems. Ignorant you can not change anything, previous tenants had no problems

Home is small but clean. Good size for the two of us. Location is good. Close to nearby attractions. Pool was nice but lacks privacy. Overall nice property.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was perfect for what we needed, but could have used beach towels and another beach chair. For people like us traveling by plane, we did not have what we needed for the beach and certainly did not want to purchase.

we are glad that you enjoyed your stay and we apologize for the lack of beach equipment. We had chairs and beach towels, but unfortunately we made a mistake and wanted to offer accommodation to a couple of workers after IAN, unfortunately they stole more than 10 towels or destroyed them, including the beach towels and various chairs. Since we weren't there again after that, you had to suffer from it. Things will be replaced, we are sorry that you miss this stuff

Wonderful with great pool

The owners Doreen and Marco and manager Petra were great. They worked very hard to get property ready after Hurricane Ian so we could be first guests. Just the shared fence wasn't back up yet but we were fine with the neighbors and the pool was so lovely it didn't discourage us. Super communication by all. Nice area. Thanks!

Great Area

This house was exactly as advertised. Very convenient area-close to hiking trails, bike trails, Boca Grande Beach and also grocery stores. We spent a fair bit of time in the pool area. We had no issues at all and found Doreen and Marco very easy to get hold of if we had a question prior to the trip and during. The only thing that we would recommend is having a couple of beach chairs and umbrella available. Otherwise, perfect!

we have just stayed in this house for 3 weeks, why 5 stars?1) the kitchen has a nice double doors metal look fridge, vrbo shows the old fridge, so nice surprise there2) living room is kind of roomy, so large format TV 65inch is right on, loved it. 3) swimming pool, must have been built fairly recently, heated too.... and it sports the cool looking lanai, nice!4) it was quiet, the neighbours were either not there or well behaved, good value there.5) the bathroom worked well and was clean, the tiles were clean, that was important6) The neighbor has a turtle that comes to the fence sometimes! Awesome.

Home is where the pool ia

Leaving review is uncommon for me. I am hesitant to post my review. I want this rental to always be my personal getaway. It was like staying in a 5 star hotel. Everything you possible need, the host have thought of. They even left food and utensils for everything. Perfect distance to surrounding beaches. If you just want me to critique anything, hand soap. Handsoap in the bathrooms and air fresheners. Seriously, the best experience in my life. Will return very very soon. Don't book my dates. 😂

Thanks for the great review. We make a lot of effort to satisfy the guests, unfortunately you can not think of everything. We provide each guest with a bar of soap for the start, more hand soap we think we can get everyone according to his scent. We would be happy to have you as our guest again.

Very clean, quiet, getaway

This was our first time in the Port Charlotte area. This house was in a nice, quiet neighborhood about 4 miles to all shopping, food, etc. Not the closest house to nice beaches (about a half hour to gulf coast) but was OK with us. Tried out a few golf courses and went to flea markets (Flea masters!). As far as house, everything was neat and clean. We did buy a pizza pan and leave for next guests. Might suggest a casserole dish for oven (Goodwill probably has oodles of them) and a mirror above the dresser in the bedroom would have kept my husband and I from fighting over the one in the bathroom. Had a problem with shower head falling off and property mgmt quickly took care if it. The garage is more for storage—don’t expect to pull in (no remote and small). Other than that, we were very pleased and enjoyed our stay here!!

Our stay was exceptional with everything we needed, easy instructions for arrival and departure as well as what was included in the rental. Thanks to Petra, which answered any questions promptly. Great Rental

The place was very clean and great instructions for our arrival. We had booked this place because we plan on moving down to Florida and was able to view different places in the Fort Myers area. However, after viewing Ft Myers, Port Charlotte we decided that's not for us. We have decided on Venice or Sarasota area to relocate in.

Delightful six weeks

Lovely neighbourhood. Quality large & small appliances. Great bed. Pool and home cared for very well. Not one unwanted pest. Advertisement was completely correct. Doreen, owner, pleasant and competent. We hope to return in 2024.
