Ski-in 4 Bedroom Home Next to Goldlink Lift!!!

Enjoy spectacular views from every room in this beautiful home. An open floor plan with large windows and (3) decks allow for the ultimate mountain experience. Only yards from the Homeowners Trail, walk out the front door and SKI / SNOWBOARD DOWN to the Goldlink lift. After a fantastic day of Colorado Powder, you can ski right to the front door. In the summer, stare wide eyed at the panoramic mountain vistas and sit on the deck at night stargazing into the heavens.

The main floor includes a gourmet kitchen (with bronze hooded 6 burner gas stove), spacious dining and living area, hardwood floors, vaulted ceiling, and a 2-story river rock fireplace with all the firewood you can burn. The house is also equipped with hi speed internet (100 mbps download speed and 10 mbps upload) The master suite is truly the gem of this fantastic home. The master has a unique gnarled wood 4-poster queen bed and GIANT walk-in closet. The master bath has a deep Jacuzzi tub and large separate 2 headed- shower.

The other 3 bedrooms all have queen beds and are on the bottom floor with 2 full baths and the TV room. There are 2 twin roll aways available for use in the TV area. All are spacious with fantastic views and one has its own private deck!!!!!

Wonderfully appointed, and meticulously cared for, this house is fantastic for families vacationing together. A (2) car garage will keep your cars warm and snow free in the winter. Ski rack and boot dryers are included. A perfect location to ski in for lunch and avoid the expensive ski resort hamburger. In the summer, access the ski area mountain bike trails or take a short walk down the street and go for a horseback ride on Snodgrass Mt

There is a 2 car garage and room in the driveway for another 2 cars

Please note the Goldlink Lift opens when there is enough snow, so typically mid-December depending on the snow year. This house is not recommended as a ski in/out property for never ever skiers or younger skiers / snowboarders


Maybe skiing isn't your thing or you want to pamper yourself a bit. Well, at the base area is the Elevation Spa, which features a day pass for $25 or $50 for the week and includes a hot tub, indoor pool, fitness center, and 3 tranquility rooms.

During the winter and summer season there is a free shuttle that will pick you up at the driveway and take you to the base area

This house is equipped with a high chair, crib, portable play pen, and pack n play.

Great ski spot

This location was perfect for our family. It was roomy enough for my husband and I and our 2 grown children and their families. They really enjoyed the ski-in/ski-out aspect. The kitchen and living area was perfect for all of us and the kids had their own tv area downstairs. We would stay here again!

Elegant, comfortable house with spectacular view

This property was perfect for hanging out together with friends and family while also providing quiet spaces for relaxation. Great location for getting to hiking trails, horseback riding, wedding venue and town. Fourth of July parade and water fight were classic Americana.

Perfect Kitchen

If you enjoy cooking this rental has everything you will need and then some. Our family enjoys cooking together after a day of skiing. Most of the time when we book a rental we have to get creative to get dinner cooked with the cookware supplied. That was not the case with this property. The location to the slopes was convenient. It was just a short walk down the street, click in and then ski down to the lift. Easy peasy.

Family trip

Our extended family of 7 including a one year old stayed for a week in the summer. Crested Butte is beautiful and so is the property. The baby had a blast; and a lot of necessities for him were there such as high chair and toys. The property managers responded quickly to every question. We would absolutely recommend this property.

Gorgous home & stunning mountain views!

Our family of five rented this home in March and we couldn't have been happier staying there. The main living area is all open and has wide views of the mountains from all four sides of the home with a grand fireplace. It is very nicely decorated, and the kitchen is huge and has everything you need and more. We will definitely be looking to come back in future years including the summer.

Our stay was Amazing this is our 23rd family Christmas trip to CB and we enjoyed much family time in the home. Easy access to lift even for the littles. Also had fun just playing in the snow around the property. There was nothing lacking in the home ... my Family just wished there was a hot tub for after a long day of ski but besides that it was Amazing

Amazing house

The house was absolutely amazing. Meticulously maintained, it had a full, well-supplied kitchen with absolutely everything we needed to cook. Property manager was near-instantaneous in their response, and they kept the decks shoveled and driveway plowed, and it snowed constantly for 6 days. The views from the house are stunning, and it is truly ski-in/ski-out. Best experience and best VRBO I have found after many years of using the app.

The house was very well appointed, with beautiful views, and very close to Homeowners Run for easy access to the Gold Link lift. We have been coming to Crested Butte to ski for decades and have always stayed at the base...never again! This house spoiled us...easier access to the mountain than staying at the Lodge, plenty of room for a large family, kitchen had everything we needed (and more), and loved that the master suite is two floors above the kids :). We would absolutely stay here again next season.

This is a lovely mountain home, well located and maintained. The bedrooms/bathrooms are exactly as represented online and we were very pleased. There was room for all of us to be together, or to have a bit of privacy in the expansive family room and outdoor decks. Fabulous ski trip

The house was fabulous. We travelled as 2 families of four adults and the accommodations are just great. The location was excellent. It’s just a little walk up the road to access the lifts. And the ski in ski out was great. The trail to the house is labeled a blue but it’s a very easy blue and quite allot of fun to ski! The house is just beautiful with honestly gorgeous views. I’m not sure the pics on this site do it justice. The lay out very comfortable and kitchen well stocked. We also got stuck there for a few days more due to weather back home and management was very accommodating. Just a great stay and will certainly return!

Beautiful house in an excellent location

This is a beautiful house and excellent location in Mount crested Butte. We were there for our son‘s wedding. We had a number family member staying with us so the house comfortably slept all eight of us. It was nice to entertain family and friends in the evening and the views are stunning. Beautiful kitchen with open floor plan. Nice appliances, comfortable beds. Everything we needed for our stay including paper products. Linens were also provided which made things very easy. The driveway is large enough to accommodate four or five cars if needed. Excellent place to stay if you’re visiting crested Butte with your family.

Wonderful luxury with superb views

This house was a most pleasant surprise, well appointed with beautiful views. The upstairs bedroom is very well laid out, with large walk in wardrobe, beautiful bathroom, spa, and spectacular views over the Colorado mountains. You feel like you're a mile above the surrounding countryside. The kitchen/lounge is very well appointed, and has everything you could need even for a large family (or two!). The very high ceilings and large windows create a lovely atmosphere. Downstairs has lots of space, with several bedroom including a master (for a second couple) and a couple of kids bedrooms, as well as two more bathrooms. The views here are lovely as well and there's another private balcony off the downstairs master. The house was very clean and well cared for with nothing overlooked, and our host James was most helpful. Highly recommended!

Spring Break 2024

The house is beautiful as is the view. Baby needs were well provided for from toys to high chair to crib to baby gate for stairs. Ample room for large family to spread out. Property manager kindly loaned us multiple ski gloves when ours got left at home saving us lots of money and time. We are very grateful for the opportunity to stay in this home. Relevant information: - Every bed and pillow in the house is memory foam. - Location is not our definition of ski in/ski out, but close to it. As stated in the description, homeowner's run is three houses up the street. Not ski in, also by way of the street, unless very recent and significant snow as you have to cross three driveways and I would be concerned about damage to skis. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Great location & spacious home

This Crested Butte home is in a great location near the Goldlink lift. The home is spacious which was perfect for our party of 8. The large kitchen was great for meal preparation. The two living rooms allows separation if your group wants. The hosts James & Wendy were very responsive, answering messages within minutes. When the coffee maker wasn't working properly, James had a new one delivered by the next morning. The views are spectacular with a short walk to the Homeowners trail to the lift where there was never a line. No waiting in early morning lift line to get to whichever areas of the mountain your group desires. My only suggestion would be a 4 slice toaster. The 2 slice toaster cause a little backup at breakfast. This house would definitely be on the top of my list if & when I come back to Crested Butte.

As Advertised

To keep it simple: pros: 3 story house was amazing, we had 2 families (10 total)(4 adults, 16,15,13,12,10,9), location was great, fully stocked everything, communication was spot on like the other reviews state, views are incredible, 2 car garage fit an expedition with small carrier on top and telluride, plenty of firewood, close to base 4-5 minutes tops. cons: already knew about these prior to but wanted to note, you can ski in from homeowners (blue) but you have to either ski on the road, or there is a man-made trail about 2ft wide that is above the curb on the road but if you go more than 3ft to the right off the trail you will have a 10-15ft drop into neighbors driveway. There is no ski out! I am 6'2" and from the driveway it was 125 steps to get to homeowners slightly uphill but not a bad walk. We had 6 new skiers and drove them to the base to learn on the carpet day one. By the end of the day 4 of them were able to make it down homeowners. Ironically the 15 and 16 yr olds were not comfortable enough to attempt. Overall great trip and well worth it! Hope to be back soon!

Fabulous lodging!

My husband and I want to express our sincere appreciation to James and Steve (the owner) for allowing us to stay in this wonderful house. James (property mgr) has been so helpful in accommodating us and we truly appreciate that. He is quick to respond to our emails or when we need anything. He is very easy to work with. This is our third year to stay there during the ski season. Our daughter and son-in-law live in Pullman WA and we have been traveling from OKC with our two other adult children and their children to meet them at this house those three years. This has been the perfect place for our gathering. The house is laid out extremely well with three bedrooms in a lower walkout basement type setting. This area also has an entertainment room with a large smart tv. The second level has a large kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances. A huge stove, oven and refrigerator. Also a large dining area and living area with with a flatscreen TV and fireplace. Upper floor has a large master bedroom with large vanity, whirlpool tub and two nozzle shower. My hisband and I let the whole fam use the master bath because we wanted them to enjoy it also! At this house you have access to skiing or hiking right outside the door. So no need to go to the base or drive anywhere. Just hop right on the mountain and go! But the best, and I mean BEST, feature of the house is the view. There are so many windows and different views of the mountains that you feel like you are in the heavens! We wholeheartedly recommend that you stay here!
