Plan your day as the morning tide rolls gently in and out of the bay. Smell the salt air and indulge in the sounds of a beach awakening. Welcome the fresh evening air, as the lights of the Seattle skyline decorate the night sky.
This rural residential area, is just south of Kingston on the part of Puget Sound called Port Madison. It was originally established (in 1916) as a summer community for Seattleites. The Indianola dock, built when the Mosquito Fleet boats supplied the majority of transportation on Puget Sound, was easy access for weekending families. Now this local landmark has been converted for recreational use (shortened to 870 feet), and the center of on-going local activity.
