Welcome to your home away from home at our Mermaid Cottage by the Sea. This San Clemente gem is within walking distance to the area’s best beaches and is sure to make a splash with lasting memories created among your closest family and friends.

Recently updated, the Mermaid Cottage is designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation. The second-floor great room is the heart of the home – a 75” television with soundbar makes it the perfect spot for movie night, with enough seating for the whole family and soaring vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. Just off the great room is a patio overlooking the backyard with bistro seating for two – a peaceful spot for your morning coffee or evening cocktail.

The great room flows into the kitchen and dining area, creating an ideal open-concept space for entertaining. The gourmet kitchen features granite countertops, Viking gas cooktop, double ovens, French door refrigerator, and dishwasher—fully stocked for all your culinary needs. Planning dinner with friends? Chill your bottle of Rosé in the wine fridge for the perfect temp.

The large dining table seats nine, with three more at the kitchen bar for a total of 12. A cozy sitting area adjacent to the dining room offers a great place to relax by the fire on chilly mornings or nights.

The light and bright primary suite is the perfect escape after a day at the beach. A king-sized bed with crisp white linens and down comforter ensures a restful night’s sleep. The charming bay window lets in warm sunlight by day and is shaded for privacy when desired. The en-suite bathroom includes a double vanity, shower, and plush spa towels.

Three additional bedrooms keep guests relaxed and comfortable. One guest room has a queen bed and access to a hallway bathroom with single vanity, shower, and sliding doors to the backyard. Another features a queen-sized bed and an attached bathroom with a single vanity and a tub/shower combo. The third is perfect for younger guests, with a twin-over-full bunk bed, twin trundle, and shared bathroom access.

The beautiful backyard is sure to be a guest favorite. Fire up the grill and enjoy year-round al fresco dining with seating for eight. Spend the evening around the outdoor fire pit with seating for all, soaking in the salty breeze. For the kids, the tree house, swing, and outdoor games will be a highlight.

A short walk from the cottage leads to several beaches. Don’t be a fish out of water—enjoy the California Riviera coastline during your stay! Prefer to drive? All area beaches have public parking.

The cottage also includes fun amenities like outdoor games (corn hole, croquet, bocce ball, football), a full-size ping pong table in the garage, two bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and toys to make the most of your stay.

Nearby attractions include downtown San Clemente and the pier, just a 5-minute drive away, offering endless options for dining and fun. Within an hour’s drive are Disneyland, Legoland, SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, and more—perfect for family adventures.
