EXCEPTIONAL IN EVERY WAY describes one of the best Poipu Sands condos available. Until you get there, you would not realize the advantages to this unit as compared to all the others. Unlike many of the others, this one is opposite the HEATED POOL area and close enough to the ocean to have an OCEAN VIEW across Shipwreck Beach and the sandstone cliffs in front of the Grand Hyatt Poipu Beach. It is also a GROUND FLOOR unit with expansive lanais that extend out onto a large grassy area. This is an END unit and as such, is one of the few that has a master bedroom in the front WITHOUT A SECOND STORY ABOVE. This allows you the convenience of being on the ground floor with the advantage of no one being above your bedroom that could otherwise keep you awake. The master suite has its own lanai, and is separated from the second bedroom, allowing you maximum privacy if sharing with children or another couple. This combination of unique features makes this one of the PREMIER units at Poipu Sands. If you are going to spend this much money, why settle for anything but the best!

Was the most beautiful spacious property right down from the pool , 2 lanais and downstairs , so roomy and beautiful furniture and comfy beds and beautiful bathrooms , a kitchen full of everything you need to cook and pool noodles and beach chairs and beach towels . Washer and dryer and dishwasher . We loved it so much and a walkway to other places to visit and next door to the grand Hyatt for resort day . I looked a long time and this is a gem !!!!

Beautiful stay

We feel so relaxed and rested after our 5 nights at this property. It was perfect for my 95 year old FIL who walks with a cane. Parking is easy and both showers are walk-in with the master bath having grab bars for extra safety. Beautiful view, beautiful accomodations, beautiful stay

Excellent Poipu condo

This Poipu Sands is a great place to stay, very comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated. The location is perfect, just a short stroll to Shipwreck beach and the Hyatt, or a quick drive to Poipu Beach park. The ground floor location makes for an easy in and out, and the beautiful is just steps away.

Great Location and nice place

The condo is located in a great location with an easy walk to both Shipwrecks and Poipu beach. Grand Hyatt and nice landscaping made short walks to Shipwrecks particularly enjoyable. We loved the stay and everything in the condo worked out great. The unit was well stocked with kitchen stuff which made cooking easy. 1st floor location made in and out easy. Nice place.

Peaceful luxury in great location

Nicely decorated, spacious 2bed, 2bath condo. Quick walk to the beach, and even quicker walk to the pool. Location is in quiet Poipu, about 15 minute drive to Lihue for supplies and services, but just a few minutes drive to restaurants and a Starbucks. Southside of island so easy drive to Waimea Canyon with excellent hiking. We'd definitely stay here again.

The condo was perfect. Everything was in great shape. The kitchen was by far the most well stocked of any we have ever stayed at. The location could not be better. Excellent property and a perfect location. This was our fifth stay at a Poipu Sands property. This unit #211 overall was very good. The living room furniture could use updating and new paint in some areas would be a good investment. We thoroughly enjoyed this unit and plan to go back again.

We were so grateful for this last minute available condo. The property manager promptly replied to our request AND even had the condo available one day early for us. The property was very clean and spacious. it was walking distance to shipwrecks beach as well as Poipu beach. A home away from home!

This condo was absolutely perfect in every way! The location makes for easy access to a beautiful walkway through manicured gardens, a beautiful pool, BBQ areas, a tennis court, you name it!Everything was thought of, with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen. Beach towels, beach chairs, tennis rackets, etc. are all made available too! The property was clean and is well kept.We especially enjoyed the outside area, with table, chairs and loungers.Scott's communication was excellent with clear instructions, and his attention to detail was clear; checking ahead of time on whether we wanted the second room made up as a king or two single beds. We appreciated that attention to detail.We will definitely book this unit again if we have the opportunity to visit the beautiful island of Kauai again!Mahalo Scott!

We have been vacationing in Kauai since 1995 and have been to all parts of the island. The Poipu Beach area quickly became our favorite spot. I am retired and do a fair amount of traveling. If you enjoy serious hiking, Kokee Park has some awesome trails on the South side of the Island, and in the North you will find the famous Kalalau Trail.
We have found the Poipu Sands complex to be very quiet. A good place to recharge your batteries.

Why they chose this property

We purchased the condo in Poipu Beach because it is our favorite area on the island. Poipu Beach has swimming, snorkeling, and surfing within walking distance. This area is often sunny when other parts of the island are not--especially in the winter months. Additionally Poipu Beach and Koloa town are about equi-distant from the south shore (Kokee Park) and the north shore (Princeville).

What makes this property unique

We enjoy the farmer's market on Monday afternoon and the Koloa Fish Market for fresh fish. Within easy walking distance are several great restaurants where you can get a 'special night out' meal or just a light snack. This year Kukui'ula Shopping Center opened with Bubbas (Hamburgers) and Merrimans Restaurant and Cafe, plus numerous shops. Walking along the coast area in the early morning or evening is very relaxing and good exercise. Additionally we enjoy having the pool and tennis court so close to the unit.
