Escape to the Great Smoky Mountains at Sloan Ridge Retreat, a spacious cabin with a mountain view for up to 11 guests just minutes away from Pigeon Forge and the entrance to the Smoky Mountains National Park. Whether you are looking to explore the nearby hiking trails and waterfalls or just hoping to cuddle by the house fire, Sloan Ridge Retreat is bound to feel like your home away as soon as you walk through the door.

The location is unbeatable for those wanting to relax in nature, far enough away from neighboring cabins, while simultaneously enjoying the convenience of having anything they might need just minutes away.

Access to a community swimming pool and fishing pond are included with booking. They are located off site, just a 10 minute drive from the cabin.

Sloan Ridge Retreat is a 2300 square foot cedar cabin with 3 levels, each level has a bedroom, en suite bathroom, and deck. 4 Decks total!

Our favorite feature are the four decks overlooking the mountain. The deck on the lower level has an outdoor hot tub, while the main level has a wrap-around deck complete with porch swing. The third one is located on the upper level and is a charming spot for watching the flickering night lights of distant cabins.

The master bedroom is located on the main level and has a king-sized bed and an ensuite bath with a separate jacuzzi tub. You will find two extra bedrooms with separate bathrooms in the other two levels, as well as a loft space on the upper level that works like a fourth bedroom. Should you need to fit more guests, there is also a sofa bed in the lower level.

The house is full of amenities you are free to enjoy. You can relax by the cozy gas fire during the winter or take in the view from one of the decks on a summer night. The game room on the lower level has a pool table, an air hockey table, board games, and a retro arcade game.

Our cabin is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a washer/drier. The kitchen is ready to use and includes cookware, dinnerware, a coffee maker, a blender, and all the cooking essentials.

Other things to note

Pets are unfortunately not allowed. We love this house and hope to keep it in great shape for our guests, so no smoking or parties either. Outside fires are not allowed in the area. Please note that guests must be over 25 years old, unless accompanied by a parent, and will be responsible for any damage to the property during your stay.


Guest access

You will have full access to the house during your stay.

Check-in is completely independent. We will provide all the instructions before check-in. Check in after 4pm and check out before 10am.

Location

Our cabin is situated on Sloan Ridge, facing Little Cove Gap, and has an unbelievable view of Tilda High Top Mountain.

The location is unbeatable. Pigeon Forge and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are each just 10 minutes away by car, so you will have everything you need at your doorstep while still enjoying the feeling of being secluded. There are plenty of hiking paths nearby and scenic drives all around.

Getting around

You need a vehicle to get around the area. Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are just a short drive away.

There is parking for up to 4 cars right outside the house. Black top roads and driveway all the way (no gravel).
