Location was perfect for our second ladies trip to Washington for friendship and pickleball. The house was clean and cozy and had every amenity we needed.

Beautiful house in quiet neighborhood

Check in was a very warm welcome. Everything was explained and shown.We found everything we needed. Pots, pans, plates, etc.We will definitely book again when visiting Seattle area next time.

Wonderful guest house in quiet neighborhood with plenty of wildlife (deer) and the most wonderful host you could hope for. Home is clean and comfortable with a well appointed kitchen for cooking and dining in. The island’s only store and restaurant are about a mile away. Gig Harbor is about a 15 minute drive. Two decks to enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine while watching the deer. Host lives close by and was a delight.

Lovely Place to Stay for a Girls Trip

Charming house with room for us four ladies that traveled to Fox Island to meet our friend. The house was clean, had a well appointed kitchen, was quiet, and we saw a daily bunch of wandering deer. We all hope to return again next year and would definitely stay here.

Quiet and clean get away

As expected it matched the pictures perfectly very clean and open really enjoyed our stay. It isn't super close to stores and other things but we knew this it was very quite and good view of the stars at night being outside the city. Tons of deer grazing in the field all day was a great say for my family!

A peaceful setting

This Fox Island home is warm, cozy and quiet. We enjoyed seeing wildlife regularly and the host was quite friendly and accommodating. Not one detail was overlooked!

Peaceful and quiet!

This is a quiet and peaceful location. Everything that you need is in the well equipped kitchen and laundry room. We had several families of deer and Snooky the cat visit us every day! Our hostess Ute is kind, generous and was flexible with our needs. Great location and property.

Loved every minute!

Lovely home, exceptionally clean, and very well equipped with all needed supplies. We enjoyed watching the deer, picking blackberries, and relaxing in this serene environment. Schnookieputzie the cat was the sweetest, and friendliest cat! We wanted to take him home 🙃. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

Grand Stay

The guest house was marvelous and the host, Ute was so accommodating! We arrived late and she had cream in the refrigerator for us. Coffee was available along with all the staples that you needed! The house was spacious and very comfortable! It is in a rural area which we wanted as we wanted to relax. However, it is close to Tacoma and Olympia. Highly recommended!

Cannot say enough good things about this property! Ute and Tom were exceptional hosts. The house is absolutely beautiful, clean, and inviting. We watched the baby deer and mama wander around the property, which is private and picturesque. The only less than perfect part is how remote the property is-if you need to be close to Gig Harbor or the Narrows bridge, it is a bit of a drive. However, if you're looking to just relax and take in nature in a beautiful home, look no further.

Peace, quiet and everything you need, including a wonderful host!

My husband and I can't believe how lucky we were to find the Fox Island Guest House! We purchased home on Fox Island but were not able to move in for a month, so having this wonderful vacation rental only a mile from our new home was a blessing. It truly helped us to acclimate to this quiet and peaceful Island. Everything that you need is in the well appointed kitchen. Great laundry room and bright dining area too. Main bedroom, bathroom and half bath are all downstairs which was important to us as we have mobility issues. The house is tastefully decorated (we actually picked the same paint color for our new house!) And best of all, we had a lovely family of deer that visited us every day! We could not have asked for a better hostess. Ute is kind, generous and was flexible with our dates. We feel like we made our first friend on Fox Island when we met Ute and we were incredibly fortunate to have enjoyed her hospitality.

Beautiful Fox Island

The sweet house we rented was organized, spotless and well equipped as well as charmingly decorated. Owner Ute was welcoming and helpful. The property is in a meadow surrounded by trees - quiet and peaceful. Every morning the deer came to visit. We'll be back.
