About this space
Magical location on the water! Walk to the beach and get away from it all! View of the Narrows Bridge, Mount Rainier and Chambers Bay. Walking distance to the public fishing pier. Authentic log cabin with charm galore! Watch the boats go by and listen to the water lapping on the shore of Fox Island! 20 minutes to the charming town of Gig Harbor where you can shop, dine and catch a movie!
The space
Cozy queen bed with luxurious linens. Brand new 55" Inch Television with Netflix and Cable.
Guest access
Public fishing pier south of cabin.
Other things to note
I have queen size mattress & cot for extra
sleeping. Children are welcome . I offer Kayak’s & life jackets.
A propane barbecue
& all are welcome the use of deck ,table & sitting area.

The host was welcoming and hospitable, She couldn’t have been more helpful, and provided great recommendations for restaurants. The cabin is comfortable and charming, with much attention to details, like binoculars being next to the windows, and everything positioned to maximize the view. This was a wonderful experience and we hope to visit again soon. A great find!

Silver Fox Cabin is a delightful, cozy cabin perfect for two. It is well equipped with niceties for a comfortable stay. The bed and linens are lux for a great sleep. The views and beach provide relaxing activities. Carolyn communicates thoroughly. Wonderful getaway! Highly recommended!

Our host helped us, taking in stride the difficulties we had with our motorcar. In the event, we simply had a loose battery cable from recent maintenance, but AAA roadside service had told us that our alternator was bad. A comedy of errors.Because we were committed to a week of Hungarian dance and music at another site in the Gig Harbor area, we didn't spend too much time on site on Fox Island. But enjoyed the deer, the sea creatures and sea birds. What a lovely place!

Cozy cabin with gas fireplace and extremely comfortable bed. Beautiful water views. Nice staircase to the beach. Watched bald eagles in the tree, seals in the water and deer just outside the front window. Deeply restorative nature stay. Kayaks available in a locked boathouse, we didn’t use them but it was nice to know they were available. Would most definitely stay here again.

This was one of the best short-term stays I’ve experienced. It is better than the description! Beautiful location, nicely furnished, a very comfortable bed, and quiet (my stay was Sunday-Wednesday so it might be different on weekends). Kayaking and seeing seal pups frolic in Puget Sound was a real treat. It the perfect respite for me, a solo traveler, To cap it off, Carolyn is a delightful host. I hope the cabin is available the next time I’m out that way as I would definitely return.

This place is a gem! A beautiful property surrounded by gorgeous views in a peaceful ,quiet environment. Our host was very responsive to any questions and very sweet. The cabin has all your needs and very clean and well thought out. We can't wait to return and spend more time there.

Perfect Getaway Spot

We loved our stay at the cottage. Great views, close proximity to the beach for walking and even saw some wildlife playing out in the water! The host was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We will book here again and Definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing location! My daughter loved the beach out front, we did a lot of rock skipping and shell finding. Also great deck on the water to hang out on when the tide is high. The cabin itself is beautiful and cozy and has everything you need to feel right at home. Carolyn was so welcoming and hospitable and really made staying there so much better.

Silver Fox Log Cabin was the perfect place to stay. It was cute, cozy, and quiet. Everything we needed was supplied. We enjoyed sitting on the couch wrapped up in cozy, soft blankets, enjoying the fire and the sound of gentle waves outside. Carolyn is so friendly and was an excellent communicator from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again!

Great spot for a getaway! Lots of sea life around, made for a great mini vacation. Right on the ocean passage, just steps away.Cabin was great and rustic. Bed and couches were comfy. Wonderful week at Silver Fox Log Cabin

The cabin was so cute and had a beautiful view to the Puget sound, we enjoyed walking at the beach at low tide, so much sea life in the tide pools. Carolyn was a wonderful host, we felt like going home, we had everything you needed in the cabin, we can’t wait to go back, next time we want to stay longer, one week is not enough. Thank you Carolyn, you made our vacation so memorable. Btw, we also saw the Orca swim by, so cool.
