Great Location!

Perfect location for the horse show. David was a terrific host. Super accommodating and so friendly, really wants your stay to be perfect and comfortable.

Great Location!

David is a wonderful host and very accommodating! Property was perfect for my fellow staff members for the horse show at HITS for the 2 weeks we were competing there. Will definitely stay here again. Very clean and plenty of space.

NY Sheep & Wool 2024!

Cute house! Our half of it was super clean, had lovely extras, nice sheets, towels and beds. We used the king and 2 twins for 4 adults. We cooked breakfast, enjoyed the Nespresso coffee, good shower, powder room, wi-fi. We would stay there again happily!

Saugerties (near HITS) location!

My friend and I, who both were showing at HITS (as well as needing to work our jobs too!) found this place absolutely perfect. Not only was it super convenient to the horse show but also to downtown for dinner and shopping! The place was clean, lots of space (we both could work easily!), well appointed and the Host was over the top accommodating. Would totally recommend and hope to be back next year!!

Saugerties Delight

Spacious and comfortable, this sunny 2bdrm gem had everything to make our getaway extra special. Tucked away on a quiet downtown street, there is a large private yard and big parking area. Inside, there are comfortable chic furnishings, excellent wifi, and a well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed relaxing in the cute sun-room. David was the best host, happy to help us in any way and very responsive. We will definitely stay here again!

Simply the best!

Fantastic place- everything is perfect- hot water and pristine linen, a great homey place with a HUGE backyard- you could have a wedding here or a party- or just set up games for your kids! Your host is exceptional, and will tell you what to do in town- swimming lakes, restaurants- local places of interest- and he is a true host! Saugerties is such a cool town- and your host will give you the inside tips, FRankly, the best one of these I can imagine. I have stayed in hotels, motels, and this is a great place with a great layout and a fantastic vibe! THANK YOU!!!!!

We are obsessive about design and cleanliness and always try to create spaces with some 'creative edge' to spice up the amenity rich environment. We love nature, contemplation, and any thoughtful creative expression. We love the outdoors - avid hikers and explorers. Of course, we love horses. Most of all, we like making people happy! Nice to meet you!

Why they chose this property

This property was purchased because it is so unique. It is one of the only houses within walking distance to Saugerties village where you have ample parking and privacy. We also loved the mid-century style. We left the original mid-century bathroom upstairs. We also kept the mid-century kitchen (with upgraded appliances of course). It is just a fun and cute space that felt interesting to be in. It is our first and only short-term rental. We just thought it would be a hit with guests.

What makes this property unique

The prettiest village in the Catskills/Hudson Valley. It is one of the few that still has its mountain artsy authenticity without being run down. We just love the village and believe in it. We love the space because of the seasonal Catskill views and the sprawling lawn. To be in the village and have peace and quiet and starry skies is very special. The mid-century style is also elegantly preserved. We put a lot of effort into the design and furnishing of this space. We are proud of the space.
