Beautiful house. Clean and well stocked kitchen. The host has a super friendly and well behaved Irish Setter named Walter. The hot tub and pool were great. Easy to find and close to Rhinebeck town. We are definitely going back.
The three of us were in town for a workshop and this was the perfect place to return back to at the end of the day. Super eclectic and charming and the grounds were so peaceful- plus beds were extremely comfy!
Irene’s place is a gem, and filled with unique character. If you love nature, art, or reading, then you will enjoy your stay here. It’s spacious, well-equipped, and very cozy. There is a wonderful lived-in feel to the place that I throughly enjoyed, and is rare in similar rentals these days. It was an excellent place for us to spend our time, and I ended up wishing our time wasn’t as short. We plan to return in the fall if we can.

I loved walking into this gorgeous eclectic property feeling like the family invited me to stay for the weekend and I must’ve just missed them. The home is the quintessential New York family home with generations of quirky art, objects, and furnishings but at the same time clean and not cluttered. The property is gorgeous and peaceful, remote, yet moments from the center of Rhinebeck. We had a little hot water issue and was only moments into a cold shower when the problem was fixed. I loved our stay over Bard Graduation weekend and hope to come again.
