We provide hospitality with great attention paid to our guests. Prepare yourself for a unique and relaxing vacation where you can enjoy this breathtaking setting along with the conveniences of home. Our SEMI-OCEANFRONT, pet-friendly house is conveniently located on a corner lot on the beach access ramp. Take advantage of the ocean views at semi-oceanfront prices! Approximately 7 miles up the beach from the paved road.

*A 4Wd drive vehicle is required to access all of the homes on Carova Beach.

First impression was not good. Dirty toilet, leftover odds and ends from previous tenants, strong fish odor in fridge/freezer, musty smelling sheets, washer/dryer left marker-like spots on clothing. Battery-powered sweeper is probably the cheapest model available and barely works. Definitely overpriced - VRBO's fees are a rip. For 7000 we expected a lot better experience. You have to love Carova or you wouldn't make the eight mile trip through sand to get there. We won't be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here! There were some minor things that the owner could improve upon, such as locks on a couple of the doors, the back door still needs to be fixed

We had an amazing time. First time driving in the beach so that was a little nerve wracking it once we got there it was absolutely beautiful.

Family OBX Vacation

We had an amazing experience visiting the Outer Banks for vacation. My kids and I had a memorable vacation we will never forget. The owner made us feel very welcome in his home and everything was perfect! We cannot wait to visit again 😊

Beautiful Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our stay and Steve (owner) was very responsive. The home is located right in Corolla and there is nothing more incredible than waking up and seeing wild horses in your yard. We enjoyed our time at the beach.

Out of the Blue is Out of this World!!!!

For the 2nd straight year we stayed at out of the blue. It was my wife, 2 daughters, their husbands, 3 grandchildren, their 2 Nannie’s and my 17 yr old son.Great home, just didn’t want to come home after our week stay. Wonderful hosts.

We Would consider this house again.

Fantastic horse viewings. Great location. Needs some maintenance repairs but that’s expected for a beach property. Beach was awesome for swimming.

Catherine Happy to hear you enjoyed your stay, I agree about the minor repairs. This year has been difficult getting anyone to do anything regarding maintenance due to the COVID situation. The area was completely locked down in the spring, only owners were allowed in, and there were at least 2 major storms that hit the area. We are in the process of attending to any cosmetic issues and rest assured they will be addressed in the offseason. You and family are always welcome back Steve

Great location

Steve was very kind and easy to communicate with. House was nice enough, a little dated, but we had everything we would need. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking to have a laid back time at the beach.

Great stay

We had a great time! The communication with the host was very good and were quick to respond anytime we had a question. The home accommodated our family's needs quite nicely. The A/C worked very well in the very warm temps. I would emphasize the required 4X4 vehicle needed to get this property. I do think some general updating could be done to the entire home but nothing that would hold me back from renting again.

Peaceful family vacation for all

We had a wonderful family vacation .Location to the beach is perfect and the size accommodated us all.Some minor issues in the beginning but the owner was so nice and replied immediately to the issues at hand.Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to experience OBX without the busyness of shops and close neighbors

Wonderful Vacation

Great location and beautiful views. Our group of 10 had a wonderful time at the beach. The 4x4 beach was Awesome, our first time for that, very exciting. Plenty of space for us all. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Fishing in the morning and at night was fun too. We will definitely return again.

Beautiful setting

We really enjoyed staying at this home. Steve was very responsive and his instructions for the home (how to access etc) are very detailed and easy to follow. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook at home. The views are amazing. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out. It was really just a lovely week.

Mom's weekend getaway

This house is such a great house! Very spacious and the floor plan is perfect for hanging out while others might be sleeping! The house is well stocked and beautifully furnished! There owners are great people who are very easy to work with! While staying at the house we saw numerous horses and a double rainbow! If you want a relaxing vacation with a beautiful landscape this is the house for you! I cannot wait to go back!
