Great location in South Kihei, Hawaii. This complex offers its guests numerous amenities so you are sure to find something you enjoy during your time in paradise. For starters, there are two pools on the property including a large family pool and a children's wading pool. There is also a hot tub designated for families and a separate hot tub for adults only. When swimming is over or you're ready for a break, fire up one of the four gas grills and prepare a meal under the sun or stars. There are also four tennis courts, a gym, and an activity area when you want a little more entertainment. Do as much or as little as you want as there are laundry facilities in each condo allowing you to go at your pace and make the most of your time here.

This condo is located across the street from Kamaole Beach III and is a short walk to shopping and dining options. Locals and tourists alike find their favorites in the wonderful vendors surrounding this condo complex. Dining options include but are not limited to restaurants such as CCafé O’Lei and Fred's Mexican Cafe, to quick eats such as Coconut's Fish Cafe and 808Deli. You could even venture around to the open-air shopping at Kihei Kalama Village or make your way to staple stores like Starbucks, Safeway and Ross at the Piilani Shopping Center.

Beautiful and comfortable!

Gorgeous property!! Incredibly well maintained grounds, immaculate gardens. Fun pool and two hot tubs (family friendly and adult-only, very hot!). Additional amenities available - go to the Turtle Talk on Friday mornings, presented by the Marine Center! Just across the street from the beach, plus walking distance to shops and cafes. This is our absolutely our favorite place in Kihei!!

Amazing location!

This place might just be the best located unit in Kameole Sands. Ground floor, corner unit, close to the BBQs, grass area in front for kiddos to run around, and so close to the beach! Loved our stay here and would stay again. I agree it could use a deep clean as another review had already mentioned, but overall a GREAT spot!

Excellent location and well appointed

Very nice , roomy property and well furnished. Location is amazing just across the Kamaole beach park 3. Property manager is great with communication and let us check out few hours late. The condo community is beautiful with pools and tennis courts. Shopping and restaurants are nearby, you could walk to them.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location on the first floor and easy access to the grassy area, pool and BBQ. Not as clean as I would like, the floors were grimy and dirt in the corner. They had a mop but no mop bucket, otherwise I would have definitely mopped upon arrival. The second bedroom has a full size bed, not a queen. There is no information about beach equipment, so we rented. However, ON THE LAST DAY we found a key and there was beach equipment on the lanai. Check the drawer if you plan on staying there. Good place, mostly because of the location.

Nice Resort - This Unit Needs some General Maintenance

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our stay at Kam Sands 10-117. The resort is well managed and in great location. This particular unit has a great view, very conveniently located near Kam III beach. Allocated parking space was nice and close (unfortunately on multiple occasions we had people park in our space but thankfully the resort was able to quickly resolve the situation for us.) The unit itself is a bit run down needs quite a bit of general maintenance - fridge/freezer has frost issues, sliding door to lanai is in poor condition, beds are very creaky, some bathroom drawers are falling off rails, dressers were musty smelling and made our clothes smell, dining chairs are wobbly/rickety, blinds are broken, poor lighting in the rooms etc. We didn't use the AC or kitchen this trip so can't really comment on those. When we arrived there was an extremely strong smell of bleach and the unit did smell quite musty/damp. Some tips for future guests - The unit does provide beach towels. There appeared to be a rice cooker in the kitchen which is a plus (assuming it works!) The closet on the lanai had many Tommy Bahama chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, a medium size cooler (note no freezer packs and ice maker in fridge didn't work, there were 4 ice cube trays provided),quite a few snorkel masks, kids fins, beach toys, tennis rackets and balls. The kitchen has some Tupperwares. Many guests before us had left sunscreen. There was sufficient supplies of toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, laundry detergent etc. Overall not the the nicest unit, but Kam Sands is a great resort and if you have small children its nice to be on the ground floor with a nice grassy area in front of your lanai for them to play.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Can't beat the view or location of this condo - enough room for the 5 of us that stayed there. There are a few things I would like to see addressed though for the condo itself. First would be a deep cleaning; also art work or decorations removed from walls and marks left from that so you think there are some sort of stains on the walls; next an inventory of the kitchen and basics that are needed for six people - fry pans scratched, maybe only 3 teaspoons. no small bowls for cereal and very few drinking glasses.

Unfortunately we have stayed in many many Kamaole sands units and this one left much to be desired. I had to buy kitchen towels and rags and chairs and umbrella and cooler. When you are paying this much for a condo you do expect a little More amenities and blankets. There were nine provided for the hide a bed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my first time staying at Kamole Sands, and the condo was wonderful! Sleeps up to 6, comfortably. The hallway bath was draining super slow when we arrived, but I called management about it and they sent maintenance out the same day to fix it. Amenity’s were perfect, with the unit having W/D, AC, and a good size kitchen and master bed/bath. The corner ground floor unit was a 2 min walk to the beach and less than that to the pool. We will definitely stay here again!

I loved the location within the resort as it was close to the barbeques and was central to everything. The rental itself was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. We were close to the Cinnamon Roll Place, coconuts and many other amazing restaurants and attractions. The grounds for this resort were kept so pristine and beautiful. I loved sitting out on our lanai and watching the birds, lizards and other wildlife. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
