At nearly 3,000 square feet, this secluded mountain home sits on 3.6 acres of private land. Three levels provide ample room for big families, families traveling together, or couples to spread out and get comfy.

The stocked kitchen offers a full refrigerator & freezer, oven, dishwasher, and proper cooking and baking basics. The dining area accommodates 4-6 people, while the kitchen bar area has room for 2 additional guests. Dine al fresco on the main level’s back porch dining table that fits 6, with additional casual seating for 4 at the conversation area situated just beside the outdoor dining area.

The cabin offers two main living areas: one on the main level, including a gas fireplace, access to the first of two back porches, windows with mountain views, and a TV for cozying up with a movie. A second living area is located on the lower level, which has access to the ground level back porch and fire pit area. The second living area offers a sleeper sofa - perfect for kiddos!

An open loft with near 180-degree mountain views offers a perfect spot to work remotely.

Girls Hiking Weekend

Such a lovely mountain house! Amazing view & beautifully decorated house! So close to the cute downtown with wonderful restaurants & shops. Lots of hiking options close by. We will definitely be back next fall!

The house was perfect for our family group of 3 couples. King beds for all and separate living areas for a little down time between outings! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for a dinner at home and breakfast in the mornings. Clayton was just a 5 minute drive down the mountain!

Christmas on the Mountain

Beautiful cabin just a few minutes from downtown Clayton but it feels like you're miles away. Warm & cozy, beautifully decorated mountain top cabin with views that go on for days. From just about every corner of this home you have a view of the outdoors or mountains. The sun coming in all the windows & lots of blankets...best nap spaces! And plenty of space & room for everyone to have a place to read, take a nap, watch a movie but still cozy for our family to just hang out together, cook, play games. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. Loved the gas stove! Plenty of plush towels, hair dryers & the softest sheets I've ever slept on. Stocked with soaps, shampoos, cleaning supplies & a wine selection you can purchase from. This cabin was great for our family of 5, everyone had their own room & would be amazing for teens or if you have adult children with their family, because of the 2nd sitting area, bedrooms & bath downstairs. And a large kitchen to share. From both main floor & the first floor you have access to a wonderfully large back porch to enjoy your coffee or eat al' fresco. And the neighbors, if you meet them, very welcoming.

We searched high & low for the perfect property over the past twelve months. After a few heartbreaks and a few houses we're now uber thankful we didn't say "yes" to, we found the PERFECT home: Retreat at the Ridge. It's located one hour from our home in Gainesville, GA - so it's a quick & easy getaway. We adore downtown Clayton, the area's hiking & outdoor activities, and we're big fans of Lake Burton. And the views from Retreat at the Ridge are KILLER!

We travel often with other couples and the biggest challenge is always finding a home that offers proper bedding and bathrooms to accommodate all adults. Retreat at the Ridge offers 3 king bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom, and 3 full baths. It's the perfect layout to accommodate a group of friends or family!

What makes this property unique

While you're only 5 minutes away from downtown Clayton's shopping, dining, and activities, you feel like you're a world away once you pull into Retreat at the Ridge. The outdoor spaces are perfect for coffee & cocktails, watching it rain, entertaining guests, or just staring off into the views.

Guests feel like they can spread out and find their own privacy between the two living rooms, the loft, the two large outdoor back decks, the front porch, and the large bedrooms.
