Welcome to TwinMaple Cottage in Bayfield Wisconsin! Our 1,500 sq ft home is about a 5 min drive from downtown Bayfield with a great view of Lake Superior and Madeline Island.

You'll find a cozy living space with a full kitchen and dining area, large deck, and a fire pit surrounded by woods. You can see the lake from our living room and kitchen - making for a great place to relax and appreciate the view.

Enjoy this quiet neighborhood only minutes from shops and restaurants in downtown Bayfield, WI.

The entire cleaning fee goes directly to the cleaner as she is careful to ensure our home is clean upon your arrival.

A weekend away with friends was made perfect by our stay here. Everything was labeled well for cooking in the kitchen- everything we needed. Tastefully decorated .But the view and the deck and the peacefulness was the best! Loved our stay,

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home! The location is fantastic (minutes away from downtown Bayfield) with a gorgeous view of Lake Superior/Madeline Island and a large yard (great for our dog to stretch her legs). The home itself is very well-appointed and stocked/organized with everything needed for a very comfortable and user-friendly stay!! MaryAnn is a terrific host -- very responsive and eager to help with any questions. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

This is our second stay at this lovely home. We love everything about this place and I especially like that it has a washer and dryer and a well equipped kitchen. MaryAnn has thought of everything. You won’t need a thing while staying here. The house is very clean And decorated tastefully to make you feel at home. We plan to visit again and highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Bayfield.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at Twin Maples. It's in a very convenient location just outside Bayfield and with a view of the lake. The home is very clean and very nicely furnished with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We had some campfires (appreciated all the firewood!), and played some boardgames in the evenings. Mornings and evenings were spent at the house. It's in a very quiet and safe area, and it was easy to make ourselves feel at home there. There's plenty of things to do in and around Bayfield so we never had to drive very far.

We stayed at Maryann's property in Bayfield for 4 nights and wouldnt hesitate in the least to stay there again. We were instantly pleased upon arrival, with the layout, furnishings and accomodations all around. It was wonderful to have on-site laundry and appre iated all the little extras that were available to is throughout the home. The location was perfect for exploring Bayfield, being less than 5 minutes from town. The kitchen had everything we needing and more for any meal prep, etc. The furnishings were very nice, decir was lovely and our beds were quite confortable. We love cooler temps so thiught having no ac could be an issue but there are fans throughout and we were never uncomfortable in the least.

One of the best rental properties we’ve ever stayed at! Exactly as described, and very close to Bayfield proper. It was a fairly hot & humid week, and we were a little relieved to discover that there were window AC units installed. Maybe the most kitchen appliances I’ve ever seen at a rental — even a coffee grinder! Used both the grill & firepit, and enjoyed the lake views all week!

What an absolutely perfect place. Four of us stayed 7/25/25 - 7/28/25 and we loved it so much. The kitchen has everything we needed for cooking and the gas grill had a side burner and we cooked outside on warm nights. The hostess, MaryAnn was fabulous. She was very helpful at answering questions quickly and she was genuinely excited for our stay. This home has an amazing view of the lake that made you just want to sit on the deck all day. The location is literally moments from downtown Bayfield and walking distance to Adventure Club Brewing which shares the building with Howl Cafe. We went there Sunday afternoon and enjoyed beer, NA drinks and Gelato. There is outdoor seating and dogs are welcome. While visiting Bayfield, we also did the Grand boat tour around the Apostle Islands. It was awesome and highly recommended. Overall, our trip was a wonderful time and I believe it's because of this lovely home.

Beautiful and convenient

We could only stay for a couple of days - would love to come back and stay longer. We explored Madeline Island and took the cruise around the Apostle Islands - it was quite chilly, but still a great experience!

Great location, view and amenities!

This was our first trip to Bayfield. We had 4 adults and a dog. The property was very nice, clean and quiet. In the mornings, I enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking my coffee watching boats on Lake Superior and at night, making hotdogs and s'mores on the fire pit.

I've been visiting Bayfield for 10 years and love all the local charm. Lake Superior and all it has to offer is just amazing! Mountain biking trails, kayaking, local public beach, and plenty of restaurants make this area so much fun!

Howl Adventure Center is walking distance. We also highly recommend taking a drive around the Fruit Loop any of the summer months.
