It was fine
There were little things that were taken care of quickly, but the big deal was that the AC is just not powerful enough for this large 2 story house. I am from FL *and* have stayed in other homes through VRBO. The house was frequently in the upper 70s at night, which we none of the 12 of us found comfortable for sleeping.
Yes, there were portable fans in every room, but we're pretty sure it's because they know the AC(s?) aren't powerful enough for the home.
The house was well equipped, if a little "worn" in some places. Truly nothing that couldn't be easily fixed by someone going through, taking notes, and taking care of.
The neighborhood seemed nice, but multiple neighbors were excessively loud - an issue we've never dealt with before. After 10 and 11:PM with music blaring and screaming/partying. None of this is the owner's responsibility, however we were never able to get information for how to get the "quiet hours" enforced.
Management suggested calling the clubhouse, which wasn't helpful (because of course, after 10:PM they're closed), and the management company wasn't able to help us any further than that and never responded to further inquiries.
I wouldn't stay again, but I wouldn't say "don't stay here". You just have to be aware of the AC issue and noisy neighborhood. If those things aren't issues for you, you're golden.
