Come relax and enjoy our CHARMING Bungalow Carriage House. The property sits on the top of a hill on five acres with a great lake view There are lots of trees on our property so you feel like you are in the county but three blocks down the hill is the Village of Watkins Glen. The Watkins Glen State Park is a 10 minute walk away and the Race Tract is a 10 minute ride away. There is a great private outside sitting area with views of the lake, firepit & BBQ. Its great to sit in your comfy Adirondack chairs while viewing the lake enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon drink by the fire pit. If you are not enjoying one of our many local restaurants the bungalow boasts a full kitchen with all you need to make a lovely meal. FYI
WELCOME BASKET IS PROVIDED IN YOUR BUNGALOW

I had the most beautiful stay at Carriage House. Theresa provided very clear instructions on how to get there and left the door open for me for easy access. When i arrived, it was pouring and past lunch and I was starving after a four hour drive. To my very pleasant surprise, I found a fridge full of cheese and crackers and a bottle of wine and much more! The place is immaculate and beautifully decorated and so very comfortable. The kitchen had everything i could ever want and same with the bathroom. The side facing the lake has large windows so you can enjoy the beautiful lake view even when you're inside. I had the pleasure of meeting Theresa and her husband. They were very kind and welcoming and even helped me start a fire in the firepit since I had no experience lol. Also location is great! Drivable distance to Corning, Ithaca and Geneva and many more. I definitely had the relaxing time that I needed! Would love to come back. Thank you Theresa for a beautiful stay.

The cottage is so warm and welcoming! It is easy to access and there were some treats in the refrigerator when I got there - nice to ease into the morning with a muffin and juice! Theresa and Ed are wonderful hosts! The location is perfect for anything you could want to do in the area. I will definitely return to this quiet retreat get away! Thank you Theresa and Ed!!

The 'Carriage House' was perfect! Theresa is a great host and her place is fantastic. Well appointed, spacious, comfortable bed, excellent views of the lake, and a 2-minute car ride to downtown Watkins Glen. The village itself is great with excellent restaurants and shops. We spent two weeks at the cottage and I was able to relax and finish writing my book. Cheers

Comfortable house and gorgeous view

We enjoyed everything about the Carriage house! Spacious living area, well appointed kitchen, comfortable bed, great location. Theresa gave us some great tips for exploring the area, including the Ithaca Farmer’s market, Senaca Falls and a wonderful local pub, The Oar House. Great food, views and vibe!

Great place

Loved the space. Ideal for a couple. Location offered some isolation for peace and quiet but also conveniently close to town. Communication from property manager was good. Property access, check-in, and check-out were easy. We would go back.

The Carriage House is wonderful. Modern, clean, and room to relax. The hostess is terrific and the coffee and other treats were greatly appreciated. Perfect place for exploring the Finger Lakes area. Don't miss the Ithica Farmers Market when you're in the area!

We LOVED our stay at the Carriage House. We enjoyed the fire pit, beautiful views of the lake, nearby wineries and state park- The space was comfortable and clean. Theresa left us wine, breakfast, coffee, and cheese and crackers. This was a fantastic weekend get away for us - we loved it!

Great Little Fall Getaway

The Carriage House was very nice, clean and well appointed. It served as a perfect home base for us as we explored the area. The owner provided a lot of little extra touches that made our stay that much more enjoyable! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our first visit to the Finger Lakes!

Absolute gem!

We had the perfect stay! First visit to WG to celebrate our anniversary over a long weekend. The carriage house and property was simply idyllic. We were so happy to have been able to find this home that also permitted our dog. All of the furniture, including the bed, are super comfortable. The hosts provided cheese and crackers, wine, beer, OJ, muffins, coffee and creamers upon arrival. They really have gone above and beyond with all the touches to make guests feel comfortable. If this is available, don’t hesitate another minute to book! It has everything you could want.

Theresa sets a new standard for “clean.”

This may have been the nicest VRBO stay we have ever had. Theresa’s Carriage House was just lovely all around. It was in very nice, quiet setting with sightings of the local animal neighbors, a beautiful view of the lake, yet only three blocks away from the charming downtown/village area. Theresa was a fabulous host who communicated clearly prior to our arrival and quickly answered the few questions we had while staying there. We very much appreciated the welcome gift she left for us. We had everything we needed for a continental breakfast the next morning and wine and cheese and crackers for an evening in. The rental unit has been thoughtfully and beautifully done. Every time we used something I thought we must have been the first guests—everything was so clean. Convenient to the town, the State Park, Corning Museum, and Geneva where we attended a family event. If we visit this area again, I would love to stay at the Carriage House again. Thank you!

We loved our stay!

The carriage house was lovely! We loved the location, private, house was so cute, we had everything we needed. So close to so many trails, restaurants! We will definitely be back, our pups also enjoyed it! Property is big, on a dead end street, we even had some deer visitors! We did not want to leave! Thank you for the hospitality and treats!

Carriage House

Exactly as described. Location was perfect for daily outings to explore downtown, wineries, Itchaca, Geneva, and state parks. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions. The goodies in the fridge were a pleasant surprise! Everything you need is at this cottage. We saw a family of deer each morning walking through the park-like yard. The view was nice and we even saw a rainbow over the lake after a rainy morning. Definitely would stay here again.

Summer road trip getaway

Lovely, quiet cottage in a serene setting, close to everything. This cottage was perfect for the two of us for a few nights stay. It has everything you could need. Very comfortable bed and awesome shower. The snacks and bottle of wine upon arrival was so welcoming. Host is great and even checked on us to make sure we were alright and had what we needed during a crazy storm. Would definitely stay again and would 100% recommend.

Property was just as described, clean, comfortable, and great location. Easy to get into town quickly, but secluded and quiet. Check in was easy and the treats left by the host were so thoughtful! Would definitely stay here again.
