Cozy Quiet & Comfortable
We very much enjoyed our stay!! Location is convenient to many wineries/breweries and not far from Watkins Glen. The house was very clean, comfortable & warm! It was a little too cold to sit on the back porch to enjoy the view lol but all in all it was a great place to stay!!
This cottage was adorable for our Girls Weekend. Beautiful views of the vineyards and there were many wineries within a few miles each way of the house including one right across the street. The owner was very nice to deal with and had a complimentary bottle of wine for when we got there! It was a nice relaxing getaway and would definitely stay here again!
Adorable house with all the ammenities
My cousin and I took our mom's on a weekend getaway weekend and this house was perfect for our trip with everything you need just have to bring your own towels. The only issues I would point out were it is on a main road so you have to be careful if your backing out or have kids with you, the back bedroom doesn't have a shade on the window so it gets bright early so if your not a morning person that is something to keep in mind. Highly recommend Toni's Diner 5 minutes away for breakfast or lunch friendly place and great food!
Great property and getaway!
The Hector cottage was a perfect fit for our long weekend getaway to Seneca Lake. From booking to departure, this property delivered in comfort, location, and relaxation. Just a short drive to downtown Watkins Glen, the racetrack, and numerous vineyards, we were able to explore the area and return each night to beautiful sunsets on the back deck overlooking the grapevines. The kitchen was well equipped for meal preparation and and outside grill ready for a barbecue. For some, its location on the main route around the lake (road noise) may not work. With air conditioners and fans at night we were not bothered and slept with no difficulties. Without hesitation we'd book the Hector cottage for future trips!
Great girls weekend!
We had a great weekend in this cute little home. The locations is perfect for wine tasting and hiking.
So charming! Hope to visit again.
Perfectly situated right in the middle of Seneca's wine trail, this little cottage was the perfect place for our family of four and our in-laws to stay. Jennifer was awesome to work with on arrangements & the house was wonderfully kept upon arrival. We sincerely hope to stay there again next season!
