Sam, our big bear stands ready to welcome you to your mountain getaway. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is nestled in a wooded setting, but convenient to all the activities offered in our beautiful Sky Valley and the surrounding communities. The great room has a wood burning fireplace for cool evenings as well as a new Smart TV. The newly remodeled kitchen is great for the meals you want to make at home. The master bedroom is on the main level with 2 more bedrooms on the 2nd level as well as a big loft area with a daybed and desk area when you need to work from home. Ready to play? The "Bear Cave" is a big game room ready to enjoy watching sports on the Smart Tv, playing cards, or how about shooting a little pool. Ready for the outdoor adventures? We have a beautiful 18 hole Championship Golf Course; truly one of the best in the mountains. Our Health Club offers, exercise room, sauna, showers and hot tub. Outdoor heated pool open until it's too cold. Tennis and Pickle Ball Courts open all year. Ready to explore more? Highlands Zipline truly a thrill and only 5 minutes away. Highlands Outdoor Post offers snow tubing, ice skating & just opened a Mountain Coaster. Ready to eat? Gourmet to Country to Chick Fil Et you will find plenty of options up and down the mountain in towns of Highlands, NC, Dillard and Clayton, Georgia as well as Franklin, NC. Ready to shop? Wonderful stores everywhere as well as antiques and gifted artists who create unique items for that special find that you will always treasure. Ready to book? Mountain getaway

This mountain house was perfect for our getaway. I love the sky valley area and it’s easy to get to Highlands. We enjoyed several local hikes and relaxing at the mountain house.

Felt like home

The house had everything we needed to a long weekend in the mountains with our kids. It was in a great location, central to many places we wanted to visit. We enjoyed the pool table and room downstairs, and the nice kitchen and den on main floor. It was a lovely area and we had excellent communication with the host.

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful stay at the house . Our family of 7 had plenty of room. Our grandkids loved the room downstairs. The house is very well laid out and has a very well stocked kitchen. It was one of the best kitchens we have had. We enjoyed the area also. Lots of interesting things to do . We highly recommend this house. I would like to give our host David 5 stars for all he did to help us before we got there and while we were there.

Amazing Stay in Sky Valley

Such a perfect place to stay in Sky Valley. Views were amazing. House was super clean and well stocked with everything you need (linens, laundry soap, fun things, etc.) The "man cave" was loved by teen boys. Daughter (23) liked it, but is still mad she lost at pool (blamed her pool buddy for the loss). The 3 levels of the house gave us all our own spaces and still allowed us to hang together on the main level when we gathered. Communication with host was very easy and personable. Would definitely recommend.

Sky Valley is a Mountain Community with a beautiful Championship Golf Course. It's located between Dillard, Georgia and Highlands, North Carolina. Sam's Place on Sugarbush is a wonderful, convenient home to enjoy both things to do inside and outside.
