Each bedroom has super comfy beds, and flat screen HD TV's. The kitchen features a fridge with ice maker, wine cooler, stove, and microwave, as well as pots/pans, dishes, etc...All the comforts of home.

Lovely house close to the beach

Great fit for our family. Loved the proximity to the beach. The bikes were an added bonus! The house had everything we needed. Plenty of space in each room. Safe neighborhood-Hermosa was. Would definitely stay again.

Highly recommend this house!

We recently stayed here with my husband and adult children and must say that the house exceeded our expectation! We have our own rental properties so we have a keen eye for the special touches! The location was great; with in walking distance to the beach where there are a number of resturants and shops to choose from. The house was so well appointed with upscale bedding and linens to the super equipped kitchen! The owner Neil and Judi were very responsive to anything that we needed. There was adequate space in the living room for us all and the dining table on the deck was a favorite! There were 3 bikes available, beach chairs and boogie boards. It was a bit cold for enjoying the beach but the bikes were wonderful! Have a great Hermosa stay!

Great location

Great location - a couple of blocks from the beach and walking distance to tons of great restaurants. Three nice sized bedrooms - perfect for us (husband and wife and two college-aged sons). Kitchen was fully stocked - we had everything we needed to cook, and the propane barbecue on the deck was a nice touch as well. Having a washer and dryer was fantastic as well. We used the boogie boards, bikes and beach chairs and umbrellas that were provided - which were great quality. We really didn't have to think about anything. The only negative (for us) was that the property was west-facing and thus became very warm in the afternoons and evenings on 90 degree plus hot days. There is no air conditioning, so if you rent in August, think about bringing some fans.

Wonderful stay during COVID

Upon arrival the home was spotless and sanitized which gave us comfort especially during this COVID time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home and even wanted to extend, but unfortunately the property was already booked. We will be re-booking another vacation down the road at this home.

Wonderful home and close to beach

We stayed in this wonderful home in March 2016 and found it to be clean and orderly. The location is terrific and Hermosa has some great restaurants and a beautiful beach. You can't go wrong with this rental house!

Had great stay. Home was very clean, beds great, and all the amenities you need (bikes, bbq, beach towels, etc.) Kitchen was impressively well stocked. We had one minor issue and owner/manager very responsive and helpful. It was resolved quickly. Owners/manager easy to deal with and very accommodating throughout whole process.

Great location to spend Christmas at. Perfect for people without a car since everything you need is within walking distance. The house is outfitted to handle infants with stroller, high chair etc. Maybe in a few years our children will give us the need for these items. The owners decorated it adorably and it had all of the kitchen appliances we needed.

Great beach getaway!

This house was the perfect beach getaway. It is an easy walk to the beach and the boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrella were great. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen is great to cook in and eating out on the deck was nice. The house is very close to all the great restaurants and the pier in Hermosa so you never have to drive once you park your car in the garage. A great rental for families.

Adcocks yearly family getaway

What a great place to end our summer! This house was perfect for us. Our kids enjoyed the boogie boards and games that were in their rooms. There was 6 of us and the house was very spacious. We had everything we needed and more. The beach was a short walk away although you couldn't see the ocean at night you could surely hear the waves crashing against the shore line. Judy was so nice and always quick to answer the phone if I had a question. If you love Hermosa and don't mind not being directly on the strand, then this is the house for you! Wish we never had to leave paradise. Thanks for everything!

Wonderful house!

This house was perfect for our family. Well stocked, comfortable beds, quiet street just a few blocks from the beach, shops and restaurants. The 3 bikes that came with the house were a great amenity. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location, fully stocked, perfect beach house!

Our stay at the beach house was fantastic! The owners truly thought of everything - there were condiments in the fridge, coffee, spices, even cups/plates/flatware for babies (we had an 11-month old with us). We truly appreciated all the detail that went in to make this house feel like home for our 5-day stay. The location is perfect (an easy walk to the beach), and the 2-car garage came in really handy as parking was definitely a challenge on nearby streets. The bed was very comfortable and, despite the house being on a main street, was incredibly quiet. The patio was a great place to enjoy that SoCal sun, and we loved being able to walk down to the main drag in HB for dinner and not worry about enjoying drinks and then driving. Would definitely stay here again, and have already passed along the listing to our friends!

Great Weekend Stay!

Judi was such a pleasure to work with and provided exceptional service. The home itself was in an excellent location, just a couple of blocks to the beach. There is a huge balcony and the home is very bright. It's also stocked with everything you need. The only negatives are the 1 bathroom and the stereo equipment is near impossible to figure out (may be operator error). Would definitely stay here again, it was a very memorable experience for my family and I.

Happy Holiday House in Hermosa!

We just spent 10 days at this charming three bedroom beach house, only a block from the Strand and beach, and a few minutes stroll from Pier Avenue. It was perfect for our family of four, reuniting for Christmas and New Years after two years abroad. The home was spotlessly clean, the living room's gas fireplace and comfy couches made for cozy evenings of family game playing, the beds were comfortable with nice soft bedding, the open kitchen allowed us to cook meals and watch football at the same time, and the deck above the garage was in full sun all afternoon, perfect for barbecuing and cocktails. The property manager, Judi was, as others have said, very helpful, professional, and responsive, even setting up a little christmas tree for us. We took full advantage of the house's amenities including the wine fridge, gas BBQ, washer dryer, two car garage, extra street parking pass and 2 strand cruiser bikes complete with locks. Our only concern had been the single bathroom, but thanks to a mixture of early and late risers, it was not a problem, and we would absolutely recommend this cheerful and uncluttered house.

A wonderful beach escape

This is our fourth stay at this wonderful home in Hermosa Beach. The property is well appointed,very close to the beach and comes complete with bikes, beach chairs, and umbrella. The property is exquisitely maintained and Judi Franken is wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend this property especially to families that are looking for a place in LA that's close to the beach, but also accessible to all the LA has to offer.

Perfect stay

Coming over from the other side of the world we've been traveling alot. We've been in many houses but this one was definitely the cleanest we've ever been in. It really have us the impression of coming home. Everything we needed was available and even all the stuff you need to spend a great day at het beach with the whole family. An excellent beach house. Ideal for a family holiday. Our stay was very well organised and all went very smoothly. The house is well stocked and well maintained with all the amenities one would require. Ideally suited for the beach, just a 2 minute walk, and, in general, for making use of Hermosa and adjacent areas.

Wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay here immensely! It is well cared for, clean, a 4 minute walk to the beach, walking distance to The Comedy Club and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment, nice bathroom, lots of beach towels, great large bathroom, beach chairs bikes, boogie boards, kids toys. Property managers are awesome! Great stay at the beach

We enjoyed a great 10 day stay at this very well equipped house in a quiet street two blocks from the beach in Hermosa. The house met all of our expectations and vacation requirements and was maintained to a high standard. Judi and Neil, who manage the property, were extremely helpful and responded immediately to our questions and requests. We also had the pleasure of staying at their new property in Palm Desert which we can also recommend. This is a great property in a great location. We hope to visit again.

My family (including 2 teenagers) spent 5 nights at the Beach House over Spring Break. Like the other reviewers, we found the property comfortable and well-appointed. The location is perfect - on a quiet street but just a short walk away from all the action that Hermosa Beach has to offer. Judi was easy to work with and very accommodating. Wonderful home and great owner

We're just back from a week at this home and are already planning to return as soon as possible. We would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Hermosa/Manhattan Beach area. The house has three wonderful bedrooms and is very well maintained. Wonderful kitchen and living/dining area = perfect for a family or small group of friends. Great interior amenities like board games, video games, entertainment, etc. The owner, Judi, was extremely professional and responsive when we had questions or issues at the house. It is fully stocked with beach equipment, bikes, etc. and if you plan to focus on the beach and strand, you can honestly stay here without renting car. In fact, the location may be one of the best features of the home. It is a 2 minute walk to the ocean, 5 minutes to the center of Hermosa, and 10 minutes from grocery stores, etc. I actually think that the location is better than some of the strand-facing or walk street properties, because it quiets down at night and feels like a real neighborhood. Again, highly recommended and we hope to get back by next year.

Quiet Comfortable and Friendly House Walking Distance From Beach

Just returned from a fantastic stay at this spacious and comfortable beach house, 3-minute walking distance from the strand and beach in Hermosa. We were four adults for a two-day stay, and made full use of the complimentary cruiser bikes and boogie boards. And the large screen flat screen in every room, along with a full theatre speaker surround sound system in the living room didn't hurt. We spent lots of time sitting out on the large size patio. Probably our favourite spot. Judith, the owner/property manager is an absolute delight and made our stay easy and comfortable. Highly recommend and will use again in the future.

Great Place to Stay in Hermosa!

Our family (with 2 teenage girls) spent a fantastic August week at this house. Judi was a pleasure to deal with and made the arrangements easy! The house was spotless and really well-appointed. It came complete with everything we needed for a week at the beach: chairs, towels, boogie boards, bikes. The house was perfect: the kitchen is well stocked with equipment, there are games for kids, there is a big grill on the deck, and the beds are super-comfortable. The house is 2 blocks from the ocean, but still in a fairly quiet neighborhood. It is an easy walk to downtown Hermosa and the pier; easy bike ride to Manhattan and Redondo. If you're not familiar with Hermosa Beach, it is a beautiful and huge beach, perfect for kids of any age. You can walk/run/bike for miles on the sand or on the Strand/bike path. It's great for swimming, boogie boarding, and surfing -- and sitting on the sand reading a book. We are returning Hermosa natives and absolutely loved this house. Great rental house in a great location. We hope to come back someday (for longer)!

"Bucket List " trip for uncle perfect!!

I just returned from a wonderful trip to Hermosa Beach, thanks in part to the perfect house we occupied on Manhattan Ave.Thank you to Judi for making all of the arrangements hassel free. The house was so convenient to the Strand/ Pier and we were able to take my Uncle by wheelchair to every place he wanted to see.The house was emaculate and the kitchen well equiped to host a dinner one night.
