Treat yourself! You deserve the best vacation and Sunset Pointe delivers. A new cabin with everything you want and a lot of what you need. The goal was to provide the best amenities so your group will be entertained, comfortable and may never want to leave the cabin. A home theater room with projector and 9 foot screen, a heated indoor pool, an outdoor living area with TV's and fire table, game room with arcade and then so many luxury amenities in the living areas. The 2 we'll mention are a custom walnut tub in 1 master suite and a copper tub in the other. The pictures tell the rest of the story - please contact us if questions!

Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Feel free to check here for details -or- all our listings at Elk Springs Resort rentals.

Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking my be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are not pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

But far enough away to not deal with crowds and traffic. Movie room is amazing. Bedrooms and bathrooms spacious. Only complaint is th pool is way too cold. No way any of us could swim and enjoy / the water temp is way cold. Not a huge deal though - overall really great cabin.

Fun Family Stay

The cabin is beautiful and there were so many options for everyone to relax and have fun. Video games and the pool were a hit, along with the theater. We also spent time playing board games and relaxing in the cozy living room. Beds were comfy and the cabin was clean. Had a minor maintenance issue come up but it was addressed quickly. Ants were a bit of a problem, but in the woods, this is not surprising. Would definitely stay again!

We loved and used every amenity the house offered: the pool and hot tub were the kids favorites followed by the games and theatre room! It was a short ride to get to downtown Gatlinburg which was wonderful! The neighborhood was very clean and the family enjoyed taking walks throughout the day , we even got to see a mom and two baby bears on one of our walks. Would come back again for sure! The house was picturesque!

The only suggestion is to have more toilet paper and paper towels for guests staying for a week. One roll of paper towels and one roll of toilet paper isn't enough for 10 people for 7 days!

The Greatest Place Ever

Sunset pointe in Elk Springs was by far the nicest, most luxurious, cleanest cabin we’ve ever stayed in! Everything from the staff being helpful when I had questions, to the owners sending us a personal gift was spectacular. It will actually be the only place we call from now on! The location being up the mountain yet so easy to get to Gatlinburg was absolutely perfect.

Best Cabin We've Stayed In!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Renting a cabin in the Smokies has become an annual tradition for our family and friends for Spring Break. We have rented several over the years and this one is by far the best we've stayed in! The cabin was convenient to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge/Sevierville. It was spacious and VERY CLEAN! The kitchen was the best and well-stocked with items for cooking. The cabin overall, and the items in it, were in good repair. The kids and adults alike enjoyed the recreational amenities and areas at the cabin. Finally, the wifi was reliable - all the adults had to hop online and work a little while we were there and not one of us had any issues with connectivity. Overall, 10/10...we'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

The cabin was really cool with all the added amenities (movie room, pool, pool table, etc.) Customer service was helpful. However we stayed on a very cold weekend and one morning woke up to the cabin being 49 degrees and the kitchen sink pipe froze. Something needs to be done about the insulation for extreme Temps because that made a lot of the day unbearable until the sun helped warm up the cabin. Other than the temp, we would return but probably not in winter or summer where the Temps can be extreme. Would be very enjoyable in a more mild season.

I purchased the cabin so family members could come down and enjoy a wonderful weekend celebrating my daughter’s 7th birthday in the beautiful smoky mountains. I really wish we could’ve got to stay longer because 3 days wasn’t enough. I will most definitely be renting again... BUT if I may add a suggestion.. We really need some blinds on those big windows in the living room. The sun drilled all of us as we was trying to watch the basketball game and it made it very difficult to enjoy the living area during the day. Other than that we have absolutely no complains.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival we were just in awe of the cabin and how beautiful it was. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were spacious too. The game room was everything we were looking for. The hot tub was great for cold weather because it was tucked under the 2nd level porch and surrounded by walls. It was in the perfect place to watch the snowfall but also be warm and cozy. The pool was a little cool even though it was inside but that's only because it was chilly outside I feel. Our second day in the cabin a lady with Elk River Resorts called just to make sure everything went well with check in and to make sure we were happy with the cabin so far. Overall, we would definitely rent this cabin again and recommend it to anyone else.

Beautiful cabin!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunset Pointe. This cabin is BEAUTIFUL! The design and decor is perfect and so well thought out. The pool is small (which the pictures show), but is very pretty and our three kids didn’t seem to mind the size at all. They spent hours in there and had the best time. We loved the garage doors in both the kitchen and pool area. Cooking in the kitchen with the door open gave it such an open air feel. The garage door was awesome for the pool too. The kids would often swim in the evening after all of our daytime activities. It was great that the adults could sit outside by the fireplace and watch the kids swimming at the same time. The indoor feature of the pool was also great on our rainy day. The theater room was so cool, we had an awesome movie night. The arcade games were great too. When we first arrived our kids were amazed with everything and squealing with excitement. They all said this was the best house ever. Everything was also very clean and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Sunset Point

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was absolutely stunning! Everything inside was in excellent condition except for the wooden tub. We couldn’t use it due to a recent repair. But everything else was in pristine condition. We utilized everything the cabin had to offer. Watched the Super Bowl in the theater. That was just one of the highlights of our stay. The kitchen was 10 out of ten. We were able to cook with that access door to the porch open, with a nice breeze coming into the kitchen. Relaxed in the living room and down stairs jacuzzi room. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and gaming room. Access to the super market, liqueur store was quick and easy. They were less than 3 miles away. Down town Gatlinburg was a quick drive as well. You have to check it out during your stay! Even with out the tub, which the lady wasn’t happy about, I rate it 5 stars. We will be back many more times. Thank you for renting to us!

We certainly apologize about the tub as a vendor had repaired it the day that you checked in, so the caulk had to cure. Luxurious & spacious

I wish I could give 5 stars but I had to give 4 stars instead. However the home & location were both beautiful. Cons: - The first floor wooden tub, (which is the only tub on the main level) was under under repair & unusable our entire stay. This was a key point in booking this cabin against some other cabins we were comparing. A main level tub was a must for us for mobility reasons. - We were texted at 1pm, the day of our check in, that our cabin would not be ready at 3. They estimated it would be ready at 4. At 4:15 we received the code to the front door & made our way to the cabin. After driving all day this is not what you want to hear. - You sign a waiver (after booking) that states you do not get compensation for missing/unusable amenities or get a late check out if you are forced to accept a late check in, which is not very fair. However everything else was great. Our daughter loved the pool. We all enjoyed the various arcade games they have including the pool table. The theater room was perfect & made you feel like you were in a high end movie theater. All the beds were very comfortable. The pool & the hot tub were clean & enjoyable. I wish the pool could have been a little warmer but my daughter didn't mind. Even though the tub on the main floor was unusable there are still 2 full bathrooms equipped with spacious walk in showers on the main floor & another full bath with a beautiful copper tub upstairs.

Disappointing Beauty

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off let me say we love Elk Springs and there properties, as this was our 3rd booking with them. Sunset Pointe is an amazing Cabin with everything you could ask for and more. This review is more about lack of consideration from maintenance and customer service. Upon arrival to Cabin there was an awful smell in the Bunk room full bath. I reached out to customer service and they said they’d send maintenance tomorrow as it was late. The smell I identified was a decay like something died in the walls. Maintenance came and said same thing and put an ozone machine in bathroom. It didn’t help at all. The smell continues to get worse throughout our stay and I again reached out to customer service to see if they would help us out with rental in some way, shape or form. They just continue to tell me if it’s under review. I can say most people wouldn’t be happy paying $3k for 4 nights and dealing with half the downstairs smelling like rotting mice. I am very disappointed in this experience, and sure hope they make it up to us. If it was for my son being a trooper and dealing with the smell we would’ve been short a bedroom. Terrible service this trip and sure hope someone makes this right.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Chris. We are sorry that you were disappointed in this aspect of your stay, but please understand that we live in an area with abundant wildlife and small critters, and sometimes they get where we do not want them to and perish. If you have ever experienced this personally, it normally takes a few days for the smell to subside, which is what happened in your case. Our maintenance team did what they could to help with the smell but we understand that it was not a pleasant thing to deal with while on vacation, and management is in the process of reviewing this for possible compensation. We hope that despite this you were able to enjoy your time spent in our beautiful area and we hope to see you again soon!
