The Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center offers clay and Har-tru courts and there is a 11-mile lagoon system that winds throughout the community for kayaking, canoes and electric boats.

The home has a pool, deck, lounge chairs and charcoal grill.
We are from Virginia. We visited Hilton Head Island in 2006 and fell in love. The beauty of the wide beaches, palm trees, spanish moss and live oaks trees compared to no other in our travels. It is a wonderful family spot. We have two small boys and enjoy the easy access to the beach. Our homes are both great for small children. We hope you enjoy Hilton Head as much as we do. I am sure this is where we will be for years to come.

The house is dated but very clean and maintained. It is snuggled deep in the beautiful neighborhood and is very close to the beach. We loved having the pool in the yard. The owners were very nice and quick to resolve an issue we had come up. We had 8 women stay here for a week, so the 4 full bathrooms were a huge bonus!
The location of the property within Palmetto Dunes is great. It has a nice deck and pool area, but the home needs a great deal of updating. The kitchen is small and difficult for several people to work in at once. It is not stocked well -- knives are dull, silverware mismatched, blender is broken, coffee maker is old and the filter basket keeps popping open. The house does have 4 full bathrooms which is nice, however, the toilets do not flush well and sometimes take 2 or 3 tries. Bathrooms are outdated but otherwise functional. Some of the lights were missing bulbs. There are beach chairs and a beach cart to use which is nice. Upstairs loft area was nice to have for reading or watching TV, especially if you are in one of the bedrooms on the second floor. The owners responded promptly whenever we emailed them.
My family and I had a wonderfully relaxing holiday here at Palmetto Dunes. This house was charming and very comfortable. My kids aged from 19 down to 11 loved it as wifi was excellent (which was so important to my eldest who had on line college assignments), really good TV with premium cable, lovely bedrooms & bathrooms. Our house was equipped with a choice of two barbecues. We opted for the easier gas option and had many family barbies on the deck by the pool - bliss. There was excellent shopping to be had at Tanger outlets which weren't to far away. Nearby Kroger, Publix and Wholefood stores were excellent for groceries and ready cooked meals. This house is in an excellent location and is just a stone's throw from beach. I would highly recommend it.

The house photographs well but the inner workings of the house is falling apart. The furniture is thread barren with excessive chipped paint. The kitchen floor is on a slant. The kitchen appliances are broken and rusty appliances. Walls were dirty and wooden doors/trim were dilapidated. The bathrooms are old and dated. (Toilets don't flush properly and toilet seats are stained and weathered.)The pool is dingy with faded tiles. The pool furniture was less than welcoming. There is a collection of zero gravity chairs that lack stability and were quite rusty- not to mention not safe for grandparents or small children. Family room tv tv is extremely small. None of the television accessories were set up for usage and dated /broken. This property is less than inviting...
Great location, layout & outdoor space. House was very clean when we arrived. However, home needs major basic updates. Had broken towel racks, toilet paper holders, closet doors. WiFi didn't work all week, even after 3 phone calls. Don't plan on using sleeper sofa due to poor condition. We had to go purchase air mattress for guest to sleep on. No broom in any closet and vacuum just made a bigger mess. All rooms need a fresh coat of paint.
Too bad house and contents were not in better shape because location and layout are really nice.
This was our first time in Hilton Head. The location was fantastic. Very close to the beach and wonderful biking paths. The house is a little dated and the furniture had a little more wear and tear than I expected but overall it was comfortable. The TV in the main living area is very small....fine if you're just watching the morning news but if you plan on watching a lot of movies at night, you'll prob be disappointed. The kitchen was adequately stocked with plates and cups but the cookware/bakeware is woefully inadequate if you plan to do any cooking. The frying pans are warped so they dont sit evenly on the surface and the one and only baking sheet is bent. So plan on bringing more of your own cookware. If you plan on eating out alot then its no big deal. Overall, it was satisfactory and we had a very enjoyable stay.
