Hi there! My name is Skylar Anna. My parents, Kevin and Anna, dreamed of giving me a special place to escape the hustle and bustle of life, explore the natural beauty of the outdoors, and relax together as a family. So, in 2019 they purchased 60+ acres in the beautiful mountains just outside of Asheville in Hendersonville, North Carolina. My castle in the mountains that I want to share with you.
Why they chose this property
Situated just outside the city of Asheville in Hendersonville, North Carolina, this beautifully quaint resort offers vacationers a chance to escape the city without sacrificing the comforts of home. Originally built in 1954 as a private estate, this property was once home to the Talisman Academy, a boarding school serving teenage girls. Now, the 16,000+ square foot home, on 60+ acres, houses SKYLARANNA Hotel and Resort with it Restaurant, Cabins in the woods, Pool and SPA.
What makes this property unique
When Kevin and Anna purchased the riverfront property that now houses SKYLARANNA Hotel and Resort, they dreamed of transforming it into an immersive family mountain escape. In addition to the full renovation of the estate into 12 boutique suites and the casual fine dining restaurant ELEVATIONS Chophouse, an in-ground pool, Hot Tub, fire pit, day SPA, extended deck, and 20 cabins along the tree line.
