The cabin was wonderful, I believe you have a better view of the mountains during the fall and winter when trees dont have many leaves, but overall our stay was very pleasant and we enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much to the hosts!
Our stay was amazing! Check in/ out was a breeze and Justin was just a text away if we needed anything! Best customer service around! The home had everything we needed and was in a perfect location. It's just a few minutes from all the best spots. We'll definitely use them again!

Thank you for the 5-star review! Glad Bear Essentials Lodge was a great fit — happy check-in/out was easy, Justin was available when needed, and the home had everything you needed in a perfect location. We’d love to host you again.
Great cabin with all the supplies we needed for our stay to be comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone along with privacy. Host was very quick to respond anytime we had questions.
Perfect layout, # of bedrooms and bathrooms. Highly recommended for your stay. Cabin was fully furnished with everything needed for our stay. Communication between booking, checking in and out was 5 stars.
Everything was beautiful. The only thing that was really more annoying than anything else was that the dryer wasn't working. We could wash clothes but had to hang dry them. We were there for a week so had planned on doing laundry once while there.

Thank you for staying at Bear Essentials Lodge and for the 4‑star review. Glad you found everything beautiful. Sorry the dryer wasn’t working and that you had to hang dry your clothes — that’s inconvenient for a week‑long stay. We ’ve reported the issue to our maintenance team and are working to resolve it. Appreciate the feedback and hope to host you again.
This is a beautiful cabin with wonderful amenities. it's location was great also. the scenery all around was beautiful. it was nice to sit out on the deck and have your morning coffee. We had a wonderful family vacation here. would definitely stay again. tjank you to the host Justin who was always so respectful and responsive
Very nice cabin! Loved everything about it! Nice views and loved watching the family of bats taking off every evening from top of the cabin. So cool. Hot tub was warm and cozy. The bathtubs in both big bedrooms were awesome! Close to everything but super quiet!
The cabin was set up perfectly. The pictured dont do it justice! It was spacious and felt like home. Beds were so comfortable and the hottub and night view were spectacular! We will be booking again here!
We had a daughter graduating form UT so we stayed with family in the cabin for a long weekend. This cabin is about 35-40 minutes from UT. Was perfect to get away from the chaos of Knoxville that weekend and be close to attractions and dining in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Hosts were super responsive and the place was very clean. The bedroom and bathroom arrangements were perfect to give everyone their own space and privacy while the common areas perfect for everyone to gather. Had a very fun long weekend stay. We will return and would recommend this cabin for a nice family/friends getaway! Few pics of how we decorated for the graduation events.

Congratulations again to your daughter! 🎓
The cabin was perfect! Lots of space, good outdoor space to enjoy. Our host was phenomenal. Shout out to the cleaning crew, as we arrived to a spotless clean smelling home away from home.
Everything was in very good condition, and it was very clean. They had lots of throw blankets to cuddle up with on the couch. I do recommend this unit.
Everything other than the hot tub looked clean. The seats in the hot tub was covered in some sort of plant material or something falling in from the cover. It was hard to tell.
The cabin was absolutely stunning! I can not wait to book again and stay longer next time . We did a 4 day trip it was close to everything so it wasn’t hard to get to the stores or shops if wanted . The cabin was so clean and beautiful I can’t express how breathtaking it truly was ! Beautiful views beautiful rooms over all a 100/10 book if you will not be did
Quiet cabin, the family loved staying here. From the pool table to arcade game, bbq grill to hot tub, everything was as advertised. Not too far from all the attractions the area has to offer.
