You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located private, updated historical home. 4 bedrooms & 2 baths w/plenty of extra space for large families or groups. Fenced-in spacious patio with huge backyard. Sizable, private parking area. Near Routes 95 and 128. Only 25 mins to Boston. Perfect for trips to picturesque points North and South of Boston, including Gloucester, Newburyport, Rockport, and Salem.
Dog friendly.

Please note:
1. The outdoor patio furniture will be set up from Spring to late Fall.
2. The backyard pictures were taken when peonies were flowing at the beginning of June.
3. If you would like to host a small event, please get permission from the host first. Additional fees might be charged depending on the event type and size.

We went for my sister’s Bachelorette party in Salem and we all had a great time! You can tell the host and his family deeply care about the property and your experience. The house and yard were even more beautiful in person and it was a great place to stay.

This house is amazing! There are treasures around every corner from the owners' adventures. There isn't one thing that we would change about this house. The beds were comfortable and large enough for adults, the kitchen was stocked with everything a cook would need, and there was even a welcome bottle of wine and a basket of snacks. The outside space is beautiful and adds even more space for a larger group. We loved the extra touches of toiletries, as one of our guests forgot his toothbrush! This house was spotless when we arrived! Kuan is a wonderful host and makes himself available if anything is needed. If you are looking for a house in the Danvers area and it is available, book it!

We stayed for 10 days while our home renovations were occurring and Kuan could not have been more welcoming and thoughtful. The house is incredibly clean, well equipped and peaceful. We had a wonderful time!

This is a very clean and spacious home. My husband has limited mobility and uses a walker to get around. Our priorities when renting a home is to find a first floor bedroom, a first floor bathroom, air conditioning and an easy flat walkable area from the car to the door with limited stairs. This house met all of those needs. It has a beautiful outdoor patio with plenty of comfortable seating. We were all able to enjoy the space without difficulty.

Very central location with easy access to town and highways. Plenty of room for everyone to stay comfortably for multiple nights. Beautiful backyard with a spacious patio was a highlight of the property. Communication with the owner was exceptional!

We had a great stay while visiting the Salem area. Kuan was an excellent host providing everything we needed from the essentials, locating the driveway with ease, local stores and restaurants. Checking in and out was a breeze as well. No detail was missed. Beautiful home and great outside areas for relaxing with family. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Perfect for Family

We had family visiting us the 4th of July week and this was a perfect location. The property was clean and matched the description. Kuan communicated frequently to make sure we were all set. We will certainly book again.

This was among the best homes we've stayed at. The owner was thoughtful, responsive and thought of the things we might need or want during our stay. I hope and pray we can stay again! Simply loved the house and property!

Our host was very welcoming and very informative. He kept in touch our entire stay and was ready if we had any issues. The home was beautiful and was able to accommodate my big family. We really enjoyed the ambiance and atmosphere in the home. The backyard was gorgeous and had the weather been warmer we would have definitely taken advantage of the patio and yard. The location was perfect for every place we wanted to visit. My family would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend this home for anyone's next stay!

Hi, there! My name is Kuan. We are a small family with two boys. We are originally from Taiwan and settled in Danvers about 10 years ago. This was our first house; our kids and dogs have grown up in this house, so we didn’t want to just sell it. There are so many great memories attached to this home. Therefore, we decided to keep the house and turn it into a short-term rental so others can enjoy it as much as we did!!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We would like to introduce a little bit of the house history to you. This is a historic house built in 1848. Over the years, it was turned into a two-family house. We originally moved into the unit on the second floor. We were lucky enough to purchase the whole house several years ago. At that time, we renovated the whole first floor and some parts of the upstairs and turned it into a single-family house which we lived in until July of 2022 when we purchased a home in the next town. That is why there are two kitchens in this house. However, the upstairs kitchen is not being utilized at this time.
