Other Things to Note:
Please note the following:
1. Florida is Tropical. In such an environment, we frequently encounter local wildlife which includes insects. Our home is well maintained and treated regularly to reduce bug encounters . However, we cannot control the occasional bug creeping in to say hello or found dead (this a good sign as the place is treated). Unfortunately, we will not issue a refund for a dead or live occasional bug. It's Florida and that’s where we live. If you happen to see a bug just let us know we can spray for you! We do not foresee this being an issue during your stay but we must mention it.
2. This is a 1920s Bungalow and comes with quirks and charm. Sometimes 100 year old homes aren’t right for everyone. Please send us a message if you have any questions or are in doubt about your booking.
3. There are 3-4 stairs in order to enter and exit this home which may affect those with special accessibility needs.
4. This home is on a large lot with two additional guest homes located behind it. You’re booking the house but please note that behind the home there are two other rental units.
5. The washer / dryer is located outside on the back porch your home. This is a shared space that the additional 3 units have access to on the property. We offer free Laundry Detergent inside your unit for your convenience and use! We ask that you use the washer/dryer between the hours of 8:00AM - 9:00PM to respect the other guests during their stay.
6. No keys to lose or to return- woohoo! You can enter with your personal smart lock code that will be sent to you in a message after you book!
7. We do politely ask guests to respect quiet hours from 11pm-8am both inside and outside for our neighbors.
8. We created a list of our favorite places to eat, drink and hang out for you! You’ll receive a digital copy of our “My Tampa Guidebook” in your AirBnB inbox.
Our Policies:
NO PETS ON FURNITURE: We know you love your animals, but we kindly ask that you keep them off of our furniture as it can leave a smell, stains and hair that is hard to remove.
NO SMOKING INSIDE: Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning.
NO PARTIES/EVENTS: We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.
We can’t wait for you to stay with us! We take pride in our home and we know that you will have such a memorable stay, you’ll want to come back and visit Tampa again!

Great location, easy to walk to eateries. Neighbor has a old charm feel. Home has a lot character and is well maintained. Communication was excellent with owner. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely book again.
There was a smell that made all of us super uncomfortable while there. It was like may mold or mildew, I am not sure, but it was very strong. The rooms did not allow to sleep in very much as there were just blinds so the rooms get light early morning. The bath towels were black and fuzzy and left little pieces of fuzz on your body. There was no shower mat so had to put a towel down on the bathroom floor. The worst part for us though was really the smell.
Check in was super smooth and host was super helpful, offering to assist with any needs! Property was super clean and tidy and overall i thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would do so again in a heartbeat! :) Thank you for everything
We had a great time in this beautiful 1920s bungalow. It is located in the heart of Tampa close to restaurants, bars, and shopping. There was plenty of room for our 4 guests. Lots of board games and the front porch swing with a bonus. Alex was a great host We will book this home again when family comes back to town
There was check in problems I believe related to being new on this app. (But I'm sure it will all be worked out.) This was a very nice place -- well decorated and clean.

Haha yes you were one of our first on this site so thank you for bearing with us! Glad you enjoyed the stay:)
These owners truly care about you enjoying your stay. They put water and towel animals on the bed. They are very responsive. The teens had fun playing uno, foozball and darts. They even had a package toothbrush just in case you forget yours. Good family vacation home for good quality time during our vacation, and close to Busch Gardens.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Excellent location, comfy bedrooms
Awesome location for all things Tampa & great restaurants. Comfortable house with plenty of space. Game room was a flop. No darts for the dartboard and other games were broken. Nice kitchen space but dimly lit and not great cookware. Otherwise very clean and a nice place to stay.
Property was clean and nice set up. We had no problems with the property. Only thing I would say is the windows were dirty and you could hear everything outside clearly. Walls/ windows were paper thin. We were easily woken up. Everything else was perfect.
The checkin process was horrible!!!! Out of all the times I've used VRBO I've never encountered such an issue....But once that was figured out the rest was good. And communication was great!

Hey Jennifer! I'm glad you enjoyed the majority of the trip. From what I remember you called me and we walked you through getting into the unit. All of the instructions we try to have clearly on the site itself but I'll look at where it can be better!
Checked in about 5 o’clock cleaners were still cleaning the home. There were a couple issues in the kitchen. Counter top was a little dirty. Also, the dining room table, bathtub had mildew. the pros, all the beds are great. The location the whole house in General was fantastic. Someone should check after the cleaners.. thank you for the opportunity staying at your lovely home.
We arrived to the location and found the front door unlocked. We let the owner know his key pad was not working and would not lock he advised the cleaners must have left it open, I wanted to let him know his cleaners didn't "Covid Clean" for $150 I paid extra Kitchen had sticky counters and coffee grinds. The towel they left for us in the bathroom to dry our hands looked like it was used to clean the bathroom dirty. The furniture was dirty and could have been vacuumed. We had to leave to our reservations we again advised the owner his door was broken when we came he told me his wife would send a handyman we came back only to spend 30 mins outside trying to get back into the house due to the broken key pab. After we checked out the owner only offered to give me a discount to one of his other properties instead of reimbursing us for all the inconveniences We experienced. As If I would ever put myself through that again.
