THE BEACH HOUSE RETREAT

Whether you are a resident of Florida or not you will enjoy all the luxuries this Beach themed Remodeled 2 bedroom 1 and 1/2 bath private home has to offer. This location couldn't be any better. Close to everything you could need or want yet far enough away. The area has excellent shopping great places to eat and plenty to see and do. My home is 45 minutes to Busch Gardens, Bucs Stadium, Adventure Island and Lowery Park.
Zoo. Twenty minutes south you have Historic Tarpon Springs which is a Greek Village with awesome Greek culture and authentic places to eat. You can take a boat ride there to dive for sponges and watch the dolphins. If this isn't enough we have 2 miniature golf places 4 beautiful golf courses and several beaches and parks nearby.

The home has a full remodeled kitchen that is fully equipped for those who choose to cook anything you might want. The living room has a BRAND NEW sofa AND CHAIR and entertainment center for your relaxing T.V. or movie nights along with a play station for the gaming enthusiasts. WIFI Connection. The dining area seats 4 and the breakfast bar has 3 bar stools. The master bedroom has a queen bed with 2 large dressers and a TV the second bedroom has 2 twin beds and dresser. The linen closet is fully stocked with towels and linens. There are also beach towels for your convenience.

After a relaxing day at the beach come home and sit out on the screen patio and enjoy all of the wildlife in your conservation backyard or perhaps enjoy riding bikes through the neighborhood.

Hard Rock Casino is also located in Tampa. Nearby are 5 public beaches within less then 45 minutes. One of them, Caladesi Island was named one of top 10 in the country. We are 1 1/2 hours away from Orlando and all its theme parks. You are minutes away from all the chain restaurants, fast food, grocery stores and shopping you could ever want. All you need is your personal belongings.
If you check the calendar and it is booked, please call us as we have a new home just remodeled that we have not yet advertised and it is in the same community.

Excellent stay!

I stayed here for 3 months September through December for a travel assignment. Owners are amazing and helpful! Location is great, house in excellent condition, so many amenities! Private beach access is a nice bonus, area quiet. My favorite spot was sitting on the back porch in the mornings. Plenty to do in the area. I highly recommend and would stay again!

Perfect vacation

We stayed here for a month and it was one of our best accomodations we ever had. The house is perfect for a really relaxing holiday. It is well outfitted with everything you need even with beach equipment, we felt at home. The private beach is close to the house, you can sit there in the shade of a shelter, laying under palm trees or make great barbecues. In New Port Richey you can find really good restaurants, some of them even reachable by bike, if you want. You are also not far away from local attractions. Frank & Christina Germany

Super Property

We just spent a month in Gulf Harbours and can not say enough positive things about this property, the location and our hosts. We used the private beach every day. My husband ran daily and I rode one of the bikes provided. Both bikes are in great working order and this area is prefect riding, running or just going for a walk. The house itself is everything promised. The town of New Port Richey is charming and quaint. I would definitely rent this property when we go back to Florida and I can highly recommend it.

So disappointing

My husband and I were snow birds this past winter and stayed in multiple VRBO homes through out Florida. I ddi not have any problems worth mentioning until I entered this house. POOR COMMUNICATION. I had to reach out to the owner to find out how to enter the house. She didn't reply to my text until 10:24 pm the night before we were to arrive. ODOROUS. When we entered the front door a strong smell of old cigarette smoke(dirty ashtray) and cheap air freshener hit me.We kept the windows open almost daily to try to air it out. ALLERGIC. The furniture had been sprayed with something that I am allergic to and I broke out in hives wherever my skin touched it. I had to use oral antihistamines and hydrocortisone cream for over 2 weeks until I figured out what was the cause. I'm a nurse. Before arriving I was excited about staying here as the BRBO site said that there were 2 bikes in the garage and we had full access to the developments private beach. We got neither. When I didn't find a welcome book in the house like I did in all the others, I texted the owner and inquired about it. She informed me that the housing committee had banned all visitors from their beach but she had not updated her site on VRBO to reflect this. To top it off both bikes had flat tires. GARBAGE. The garbage was only picked up twice in the first 3 weeks. When we flagged down the garbage truck and asked him. he said the account was voided. The whole month was so disappointing and it didn't need to be.

Gulf Harbors

A very special all year round retreat. Highly recommended. Perfect in every way. Owners MJ & T are exceptional and we consider them to be our friends. This is our 3rd year and we have booked for next year and I hope many more to come. A very comfortable home from home, with everything provided to make your stay enjoyable. A cool summer room for dining with BBQ in warm weather if required. A perfect private beach on the Gulf where you can relax in the sunshine and is just minutes from the house, access is included in the rental. Beach loungers, beach towels provided. Great find perfect for our needs

My husband and I were fortunate to be able to stay here for 3 months while house hunting in New Port Richey. The house is cozy and comfortable, well accommodated and very nicely updated. The kitchen is lovely, functional and equipped with everything needed. It also has the added feature of a garage, which we much appreciated. The owners, Mary Jane and Tim, were accessible and extremely helpful and considerate. We simply could not have asked for a better experience -- especially with the stress involved in searching for and closing on a new home. Thanks for everything Mary Jane and Tim.

Spring get away!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here last spring from mid March to mid April 2014. The house was nicely updated, clean,comfortable and convenient to everything! Charming house/Attentive Owners!

This house is everything and more than promised! My daughters and I had a great stay! The house is immaculate and cozy, perfect for us! The location was great too! Our daily excursions- Tarpon Springs, St Petersburg, Anna Maria Island - were in close enough proximity for a nice short drive! Mary Jane and Tim were very prompt at taking care of any issues and answering any questions that we had! We will definitely be going back! Just wish it was soon! Thanks Mary Jane and Tim!!! Great Vacation

We loved our 24 days in this wonderful 2 bedroom home. It was completely updated, well decorated, pretty, clean, comfortable, and serene. We felt completely at home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen brand new, and the 2 living areas gave us options for reading and/or tv watching. Beautiful private beach, parks, stores and church were nearby. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing vacation and hope to return next year. Thank you for exceeding our expectations! It was great fun to meet the owners.

Comfortable, Convenient House

My family stayed for an extended weekend in early April and were very, very satisfied with our stay. The house is nicely (and recently) decorated. Everything feels clean and well-kept. The beds were comfortable and on an unfortunately rainy day, the TV/family room was perfect. We escaped for a day to LegoLand which was an easy drive, and we enjoyed a beautiful morning at the Gulf Harbors beach. Thanks for a great stay!

PERFECT VACATION!

My family of 4 stayed in this lovely home for a spring break getaway. It was the perfect place for the rest and relaxation we wanted. We were a short drive to the Tarpon Spring sponge docks were we were able to dine on an authentic greek meal as well as purchase fresh seafood. The bikes were great for daily bike rides to the beach. The white sand on the beach was great for creating sand castles. A short drive away was Howard Park where we were able to see dolphins daily! 2nd Season

We just completed our second winter season at the beach house retreat. We stayed from 12/15/2011 until 3/25/12. We would rate it as excellent,in all repects. Everything,you would ever need,is provided. The owners are very helpful, and friendly. The private beach is a great place to relax,have a picnic,, watch the dolphins,or the spectacular sunsets. We would highly recommend this place for a relaxing vacation.

Would stay again loved it so much

I couldn't believe how beautiful this rental was when we arrived it exceeded our expectations. Very peaceful area to stay my son loved the queen size bed the best it was like sleeping on a cloud. Didn't get to go to Madiera Beach but heard its wonderful so if you stay here go for sure. Beaches to go to are Howard Park, Honeymoon Island and Clearwater if you like the fast lane, it was a little hectic for my taste. If you like Greek food go to Tarpon Springs cute little fishing village area and affordable Dolphin Tours and great gift shops and a Aquarium for the kids but get there early most things close at 5pm There's a couple of seafoood restuarants in Tarpon also. If your'e looking for a rental to stay in you can comfortably sleep 6 no problem I loved staying here and would again. It was great for me cause I had friends that lived close by without having to burden them. Best 3 weeks of my life and dont forget the private beach for Sunrise and Sunsets and BBQ come in the morning you just might catch a glimpse at some dolphins. Maryjane thanks for everything and will hopefully be back again in the near future thanks for making us feel like we never left home.

Family Vacation

We needed a relaxing vacation, and this location provided that for us. It was more reasonable than a hotel, yet it provided our family with more space than a hotel suite does. The house is nicely furnished. We loved having the convenience of the washer and dryer. We used the private beach, but we really enjoyed Honeymoon Island several times as it was only 35 minutes away. The owner was a pleasure to work with. We will consider this place again if vacationing in the area.

Great vacation Home

We stayed here for 4 months and found the house to be very comfortable,,,well located.and the private beach is wonderful.. The owners,are top notch,,,very friendly,and accomodating. I would definitely recommend it. It is well furnished,and complete in ever detail..No need to bring anything,except yout personal items.

Why they chose this property

We chose this area for the simple reason that it was everything you think about when you think of Florida. After my mothers passing, I decided to make this home into a vacation paradise so others could enjoy it also.
