About this property

Canal-Front Gulf Coast Getaway

Welcome to our cozy little waterfront home, ideal for getting away from those harsh northern winters. It is situated in the beautiful gulf harbor neighborhood of New Port Richey. With a very open layout you and your family can easily relax and socialize together in the air conditioning or step out back and enjoy the gorgeous in-ground pool. Less than a mile from US-19 you will be minutes away from multiple restaurants, grocery stores, shopping malls and gas stations.

You'll find the living area in our home very open and welcoming. The large screen TV can be enjoyed from the family room couches or turned on it's swivel and faced towards the kitchen. The sunroom gives you a beautiful view looking West. Relax on the dual reclining loveseat and take in a beautiful sunset from indoors on those chilly winter nights.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, a 32- inch TV and is connected to the master bath. The second bedroom has two queen beds and is connected to a full bathroom with tub. The third bedroom is located in the rear of the house overlooking the pool and canal system. It also has a queen bed and a full bath which is conveniently accessible from the pool area as well.

The pool area has a large patio set and two very comfortable sun-loungers. There is a propane grill out back to satisfy all of your barbequing needs. We have also recently installed a pool heater that can be used for an extra fee. Our floating dock is newly rebuilt and is perfect for fishing, drinking your morning coffee or watching the evening sunset. There is a 2-person kayak available for exploring the canal system throughout our neighborhood as well.

Once you're fully rested and rejuvenated, take a day and explore the area! Downtown New Port Richey is less than 10 min away. It boasts a number of small shops, pubs, restaurants, brewery's and ice cream parlors. Sims Park is perfect for an evening stroll with it's extensive and very well lit walking paths. Orange Lake with it's beautiful fountains is a must see! Our little town of New Port Richey has come a long way the past few years.

Wonderful

Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed our stay in New Port Richey! We explored the many county parks, Tarpon Springs, Dunedin and New Port Richey. Much to do in the area. The house was very nice and clean. We enjoyed our time relaxing around the house after being tourist every day. The owner communicated with us throughout our stay and was very helpful!

All in One Stay

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Foti's spacious, clean, well appointed home on a channel. Whether cruising out to nearby islands in our boat we could dock right there at his floating dock, basking in the sun on a chaise, floating in the pool, loving the flowers and watching for otters, dolphins, manatees, and numerous birds, or grilling a quick dinner while watching the sunset from the patio...this was a Florida vacation all in one place. Our daughter, son in law, and grandkids visited for a few days and never complained about being bored!! They keylock was the only glitch, but Foti was responsive and we overcame the problem. We truly did not want to leave!!

Fun place, good location, close to beaches

This is great for up to 6 people. The home has an awesome pool, on a canal. The location is great as it is just a short drive to beaches, and less than 45 mins to the TPA airport, and sports activities in and around TPA and Clearwater. Shopping is convenient, just a couple minutes down the road.

Great Florida Experience!

My husband and I stayed at this house for 2 weeks. We loved it! The house is well furnished, clean and quiet. We and our grandchildren, who live in Florida, enjoyed the pool and the kayak. The beds are comfortable and the view of the canal is great! It is a great place to experience Florida.

Great Host and location

Stayed at property for 6 weeks March to April 2022, the property is in a great neighborhood. House backs onto canal , we had dolphins visit a few times, very relaxing quiet with plenty of birds to watch. Host Foti was very quick to respond to any questions or problems we had. Bad storm passed thru one night and lightning strike took out the fridge. Foti was quick to resolve the problem repair person was there the next day. We would definitely stay again, sorry we missed out in booking for next year.

Breathtaking View to the Gulf Channel

I traveled with my husband and two teen children and stayed for a month during July-August 2021 in this property. The house is comfortable for a family of four, it was very well equipped with kitchenware, which was important for us as we stayed for a month. Everything was working in the house; and we had the full house for a month to ourselves. The neighborhood was safe, well- kept, and quiet. When we rented the house, we did not believe that the black couches in the living room were going to be so comfortable! The crown of the jewel is the swimming pool and view to the channel. The photos do not give credit to the amazing experience of enjoying the swimming pool or having breakfast watching the channel. Foti was very responsive and accommodating of our requests/questions. He even bought a brand new kayak for us to enjoy the channel. There was also a new beautiful dock with access to the channel. I will definitely return to this property.

Super relaxing getaway for families

This home is wonderful. It is in a quiet neighborhood about 50 minutes north along the coast from Clearwater. We were concerned about being too far out, but it turned out to be perfect for us. There were a lot of things to do near the home in the two communities nearby (New Port Richey and Tarpon Springs), restaurants, shopping, deep sea fishing, etc. The home itself is soooo relaxing. It is right on a canal and so quiet and peaceful. The three bedrooms are completely split from each other, so everyone has privacy. The kitchen is very well stocked with supplies. The owner is so nice and responsive as well. For the affordable rental price, it really cannot be beat.

Nice waterfront home in quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our relaxing stay in this spacious and comfortable home. The kitchen is equipped with anything you might need. The bedrooms are nicely separated for privacy and each has its own bath. The home is located close to many vacation activities including beautiful beaches, parks for kayaking, sponge docks in Tarpon Springs, and a cute downtown center.

Rental was great. Location was really nice; we often saw dolphins in the canal right behind the house. Everything was clean and in good working order. There was plenty of room for all of us. Owner was very responsive when we asked questions. Would stay again!
