Elegant home in historic Idaho Springs! Centrally located in the heart of town. Close to endless outdoor activities, old town boutiques, bistros, and brew pubs. This freshly remodeled home is all about the Colorado lifestyle! Enjoy historic mountain towns, hiking, biking, skiing, rafting, fishing, local eateries, galleries, casinos, zip-lining, ATV & 4WD trails and much more all within walking distance or a short drive. The front porch is a cozy hangout for morning coffee. There is a private backyard with a patio for entertaining & evening cocktails. The master bedroom is separate from the other bedrooms. There is a nice living room, a large kitchen and mudroom for all your ski gear. Free off-street parking with overflow parking if requested. Just 20 minutes to casinos, 25 min to the metro area, 35 minutes to skiing, 1hr. to the airport and within 1.5 hours of 7 world-class ski areas.

This was a perfect location for a home base. We explored Idaho Springs and loved walking to all of the locak businesses and trails. We also had a rental car and explored St. Marys Glacier, Garden of the Gods, Evergreen and Red Rocks Amphitheater for a concert. We tried to book maasages but they were all booked out a week or so. If you plan to get a massage then book in advance. The house was the perfect size for 3 women, on a girls trip. The kitchen was fully stocked. We were able to have coffee and make breakfast before our adventures each day. Although, walking to The frothy Cup for coffee was a must do for us as well. If you are looking to sit on the porch with a perfect view for morning coffee or an evening cocktail, this is not the location for that but like I said we were out of the house exploring more than at the house relaxing. Communication with the owners was clear, easy and respect. They were helpful with the few minor things we needed to adress and responded quickly. We would stay here again with a small group of people as the hosts and location were perfect.

We enjoyed our stay in Idaho Springs. Great shops, restaurants. The visitor center was friendly and a great help. We chose this location because it was centrally located with all the things we wanted to see and do.

Great location! We walked everywhere. We loved having an outside patio and the screened porch was perfect for rainy days. The house was clean, beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. Thank you!

I based my review on my previous stay at this property.A medical emergency came up for this particular stay and I was not able to make it there. The owner Peggy has always offered excellent assistance with my rentals and readily available for all of our needs. Her house is really lovely, and we look forward to renting again in the future.

Clean and comfortable

House was very clean and easy walking distance to downtown Idaho Springs. Nice furnishings and property with an enclosed backyard for your dog. Rafting companies are also within walking distance, and the new bike park is closeby as is the road to Mount Blue Sky. There was just two of us, but the home would be comfortable for a small family.

Wonderful House!

This house is absolutely perfect! It’s adorable inside and out! The beds were comfortable, the living area was cozy and had plenty of room to relax. The kitchen had great appliances and was well stocked with coffee, tea, spices, etc. The location is perfect and it was easy to walk to town, the grocery, the rec center, and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Cozy retreat, near everything

The house is cozy, well appointed and just had an overall warm feel. most all the amenities we felt necessary were there. The house is on a quiet street with ample parking. and a few minutes walk from a quaint and active main street. Communication from our host was excellent. We got all the details but weren't overwhelmed with communcations or long lists of dos and don'ts. It made us feel welcome and in turn we felt trusted that we would treat the property with respect. We picked this property as a little out of the way place to stay for activities in Denver, but found ourselves enchanted by the people and activities in Idaho Falls.

Enjoyable Trip

We enjoyed our time in Idaho Springs. We visited the mine, the hot springs, the local trails, shopped in town and enjoyed a large number of local restaurants. We also attended a concert at Red Rocks. The house was perfect for my wife and I as we were able to easily walk to everything. The was immaculately clean.

A Great month of March!

We so enjoyed our stay at 2001 Miner Street! Our daughter and future son-in-law live in your wonderful town. The house was a perfect way to be close and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and cozy - the 2 bunk areas added some scale when needed. The bathrooms worked well and the shower was great for apres ski!When the temps permitted - we greatly enjoyed the back patio and dog-freindly grounds. The front porch was remarkably comfortable whether sunny or snowing...a nice touch.While not a huge space, it was a comfortable for all parties. The kitchen was well equipped with nice modern touches.We loved the local bars and restaurants. The proximity to all Summit County mountains was a great bonus - and catching trout in the nearby Clear Creek a life experience!Thanks!!

Ski Trip

Perfect place for our group to stay and use as a ‘hub’ for our ski trip! Location was so convenient - great restaurants near by, close to our favorite ski rental shop (Maison de Ski) and easy access to I-70.

Location is great. Close to everything!! Very clean and the price is great. If I had any questions I messaged through VRBO and the owners responded within minutes. Highly recommend!!

Hiking trip

Terrific property in a perfect location walkable to town. Good jumping off point for hiking in the mountains. Only 45 minutes from Denver. Responsive owner as well.

Perfect location just 4 blocks to the historic downtown yet quiet when you are ready to call it a night. Parking is tight in Idaho Springs so you can park here and walk everywhere. There are multiple places to eat and drink just down the block. This home is freshly remodeled and everything is new.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

There is a wonderful front porch for morning coffee and a nice patio out back for evening cocktails. The kitchen is fully stocked if you want to eat in. There is a TV in the living room and a TV in the master bedroom.
