Whether you warm up by the fireplace, hang out on the large upper level patio, or relax in the hot tub you will enjoy breathtaking mountain views including Mount Blue Sky. 10 Peaks Hideaway is a fun and relaxing destination and a short drive from Denver. The St. Mary's Glacier trail head is a mile away, white water rafting is at the bottom of the mountain, and ski resorts are nearby. Rocky Mountain High!

Fisherman and ATV enthusiasts can take advantage of fishing spots and ATV trails surrounding the cabin!

We offer a weekly discount (15%) and a monthly discount (25%) off the daily rental rate. These are deducted automatically when a stay is booked.

We also offer a 10% discount off the daily rate to active-duty military and veterans, responders, medical professionals, teachers, seniors, non-profit staff, and commercial drivers. Details are at www10peakshideawaycom.

Previous guests returning for another stay are entitled to a 10% discount off the daily rental rate.

For stays of 2 weeks or longer we provide a Premium Housekeeping Service at No Cost to you, the guest. This includes weekly housekeeping and trash disposal. The housekeepers wear appropriate PPE due to the COVID pandemic. You can work with the housekeeper if you like, to not be at the cabin when the housekeeping takes place. Or, if you do not want the housekeeping, we can limit the service to trash disposal. The one-time standard $200 cleaning fee still applies to the total rental fee.

Food or coolers left outside attract animals, including black bears which are generally harmless. They are hungry and will go to great lengths to eat.

Amazing Christmas in the Rockies!

Our stay at Kevin's cabin in Colorado was absolutely amazing! The cabin was decorated for Christmas, which made celebrating the holiday with our family even more special. The location and scenery were beautiful…and the snow Christmas morning was magical.The cabin itself exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly well-furnished, far better than other places we’ve stayed. Kevin was an outstanding host—responsive, helpful, and great to work with.We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. It truly felt like a home away from home!

Amazing cabin in the mountains!

The cabin was amazing! The quaint town of Idaho Springs is like stepping back in time. We had my future SIL’s bachelorette party here and it exceeded our expectations! The home was clean and well stocked, the beds and linens are clean and comfortable and the views are AMAZING! We hope to come back one day!

Beautiful time!!!

A small group of us stayed at this beautiful cabin. I cant say enough wonderful things! We enjoyed the area, sledding, the hot tub and the views! Definitely going to be returning!!!!

Fantastic place to celebrate Christmas with family!

Beautiful cabin in the most amazing location. The views were unmatched! We loved opening the curtains in the master bedroom to see the dawn breaking over the mountains. Kevin and Beth were excellent communicators both before and during our stay. The rustic Christmas decorations were adorable. We are grateful for the opportunity to share this cabin with our family of grown children.

Cozy Cabin With a View

We loved this cabin, and bookmarked it for a return! It's very clean and exceptionally equipped with all the kitchen, and outdoor necessities. An awesome deck with a fantastic grill were the among the highlights of our outdoor time. Host was very informative and personable. Highly recommend.

Up in the mountains--REALLY

This vacation spot will truly take your mind away. This is a wonderful chance for being in the tree line! The views are outstanding and this cabin/home has curtains that open automatically so you can enjoy the changing mountain, clouds,open sky and the view at night held up by the stars is truly wonderful. If you enjoy climbing and being out in nature you will surely be delighted. One of the best things EVER, was the access to the host for any questions or concerns. Not having to go thru a third party was the best. The caretakers where responsive and there to help within the hour. Thank You Kevin and Beth for letting us share your mountain home. CK

Mountain View

Excellent views and comforting lodgings. Glacier hike superior. Winding switch backs a drawback if you’re making frequent day trips. No commerce till Idaho Springs (30 minutes).Altitude 10,000ft takes some getting used to. Ideal spot if you’re going to just hunker down for the week. Sunrises were the best!

Great place to stay in the mountains

Great overall, perfect size and great distance away from town. Hot tub was perfect! We had an issue with a breaker, but the host was very responsive and helpful in getting what we needed. Would recommend!

Great Weekend Get Away

We had a great time at this cabin, a short drive from Denver and a shorter drive to Idaho Springs. The house was clean, the amenities were as described, and the owners were attentive and have great personalities. I highly recommend!

Amazing views and fully stocked kitchen

Everything about this property was excellent. From the stunning views of Mt. Evans to the fully stocked kitchen/pantry, this property fit the bill. It is a good distance from city life and over 10k feet above sea level, which definitely took some getting used to. There was plenty of beds, private spaces for the teens to hang out, and bathrooms. The property was clean and stocked and the property owners were excellent to work with. My wife particularly enjoyed the organization of the kitchen, as the dishware and cookware were in locations that make sense. Normally, she has to rearrange all the cabinetry to make sense of things and make space for food. This kitchen also has a big pantry, which allowed for a weeks worth of food for 7 people! The filtered water was a much appreciated amenity as well. We loved this property and definitely recommend it for families! Oh, and they are super dog friendly too!

Excellent responsiveness

Kevin's responsiveness was timely, the property is well maintained, and the information sheet provided is well prepared. I would recommend this space for anyone who wants a jump off spot to the mountains, or for anyone simply looking for a space to relax.

Relaxing Getaway

The cabin was a perfect getaway for our family as we passed through Colorado on vacation. Our kids loved the bunk beds in the loft bedroom and hung out by lounging in the cozy bean bag chairs. The view was breathtaking and we even saw a rainbow just off the deck in front of the mountains! The hosts provided detailed information about hikes and scenic drives in the area, which we took advantage of. Overall, the cabin was just perfect.

Beautiful Cabin in the Mountains

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Location is close to Idaho Springs. Easy and beautiful drive into town and other activities. We saw moose, deer, a mountain lion and lots of chipmunks! Cabin had all the amenities we needed. Kevin was very quick with responses to questions. We will definitely be back in the future!

Wonderful view

Overall property was great. Just 2 suggestions . The pellet stove directions were confusing. Tried for a bit and gave up luckily we didn't really need it. Maybe add a scan code with a video. A few items could use a deep cleaning. Grill coffee maker cabinets behind the toilet areas. Windows have not been cleaned in a while. Handprints and smudges in a few areas on the window overlooking the mountains and fridge. Nothing major I would definitely stay again. The amenities location view and everything else was wonderful.

Idaho Springs trip 2023

My family drove out from upstate NY to see my oldest son who lives in Denver. We did a bunch of local hikes and sight seeing. We really enjoyed Close by Idaho Springs. TommyKnockers and Beau Joes are a must for great food and drinks. The shops were fun and unique. Something for everyone. We did visit the ARGO mine and took the tour. So much history in that little town. The cabin was clean, beautiful, and fully stocked, just like home in every way. We had some visits from the mule deer and a lot of birds, and chipmunks. We did see a herd of Bighorn sheep up on Guanella Pass above Georgetown right next to the road… so cool!! Our hosts Kevin and Beth were extremely helpful and always available to answer our questions. Overall a great family trip I’d recommend highly.

The cabin is a short, beautiful drive from Denver. It is our favorite place on Earth. After a long day, few things compare to slipping into the hot tub with your favorite beverage in hand and enjoying the tranquility on the mountain. The views are amazing. Sometimes the stars will align and you can experience sitting in the hot tub watching the full moon rise over the ridge to fill the valley with its light. It is truly spectacular.
