About Tammy Wooldridge

I have lived my entire life on the North Olympic Peninsula. I am very fortunate to live here and it is a beautiful place to visit. I have three adult children who still love to spend time and enjoy the waters of Lake Sutherland. I work and live in Port Angeles, but try to spend some weekends escaping life's demands by relaxing at the lake. I have a sign at the cabin that reads, 'If you are lucky enough to live on the water, you are lucky enough'. That says it all!

Tammy Wooldridge purchased this cabin in 2003

Why Tammy Wooldridge chose Olympic Peninsula & Pacific Coast

Lake Sutherland is a prime piece of property on the North Olympic Peninsula. This cabin was bought in 2003 and fully remodeled in 2004 - 2005. There is a public boat launch on the south shore side of the lake. This location is 10 minutes away from the Olympic National Park, 40 minutes from Forks, WA., home of Twilight books and movies and a ferry ride to British Columbia, Canada.

What makes this cabin unique

Fishing, boating, kayaking, tubing, skiing, bird watching, hunting, family time.

Guestbook comments from the owner

I have to say, it's the most beautiful place I ever stayed. Thank you Tammy. I will be back!

Delightful, private retreat in a central location

  • 5 of 5

This cabin has it all--great location, comfortable furnishings, and loads of amenities. It was a wonderful place to come home to after each day in the national park. The beauty and tranquility of the lake added a great deal to our vacation experience. Tammy is an attentive, responsive, and thoughtful host--one of the best we've encountered in many years of vacation rentals. Everything was exactly as advertised, so the only surprises were of the best kind--the many extras offered.

Beautiful cabin on the lake. The pictures don't do it justice.

  • 5 of 5

What a fantastic place to stay! The name Cozy Cabin definitely fits. The area is beautiful, the accommodations were great, and we had a wonderful stay. We loved sitting on the dock by the lake and spent our morning kayaking. The cabin itself is comfortable and has everything you could need for a stay. We would definitely come back!

Perfect lake getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cabin! We should have stayed for longer than we did. The cabin had all that we needed, and the view was spectacular. The use of the double kayak was a huge bonus, and my husband took our kids out on the lake many times. Being able to grab a coffee in the morning and just walk down to the dock was so relaxing. Our kids said that the pull out sofa bed was super comfy. The location was convenient for all that we wanted to see and do in Olympic National Park. I highly recommend this cabin for a couple or a small family. I want to go back!!!!

What a treat!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin right on Lake Sutherland is both cozy and charming! You feel as if you are staying in someone's well-loved lake cabin, not a rental. It is very well stocked with anything you need to enjoy the lake, even a kayak! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
