Thank you for your comments. We just sodded the yard a while back. Unfortunately, due to the hurricanes this last season, sod is not as full as it should be. We are waiting for the grass to fill in. In the meantime, we do have lawn maintenance every week. Our lawn maintenance crew has not seen any snakes on the property. Further, neighbors have not reported seeing any snakes for years. We do have snakes in Florida and most often they are harmless black snakes, which was probably the case here.

Regarding the amenities provided, we do supply a startup kit including basic toiletries and cleaning supplies intended to cover the first day, as the house is a vacation rental and not a hotel setup. Firstly, I want to clarify that our home is fully equipped for a standard stay, including an initial supply of toilet paper and disposable paper washcloths. If you're staying longer than a few days, you might need to purchase additional supplies. As for the air conditioning issue, we took immediate action when you reported it on a weekend. Our handyman, who was sent the same day, found the AC to be in working condition. My inspector also noted that during their visit, children were frequently going in and out of the house, leaving the door open, which can impact the efficiency of any AC system and even cause long-term damage. Regarding the broken refrigerator handle, we've already addressed the issue and did not charge you because we wanted to assume the best intentions. However, we find it disheartening to receive such a negative review almost 100 days after your stay, given that this home has consistently received high marks from other guests. We're proud of the effort we put into making our guests' stays as comfortable as possible, and it's disappointing to see this record marred by a review that doesn't fully reflect these efforts.
